One of Darkover's seven Domains

Cottman IV or as the inhabitants call it, Darkover, is a world created by Marion Zimmer Bradley. Her novels tell the stories of a planet that undergoes tremendous changes. From the very first "Landfall", to the current "Traitor's Sun", Ms. Bradley takes us on an adventure full of intrigue, honor, love and strife. On Saturday, September 25, 1999, Marion Zimmer Bradley died. The world is truly a sadder place with her passing.

Darkover is divided into seven "Domains" or major families. Each family has its own unique "donas", or psychic gift. Although these gifts are not limited to a specific family, each gift is associated with one of them. The Ridenow donas is the gift of empathy.

Our Domain head was Dom Marcello Ridenow. Lord Serrais recently passed away. The upcoming Comyn Council session will determine who the new Lord Serrais will be.
