One day Fluffy Bunny was looking for a good time, so he called Jimmy the skunk. Jimmy said he could get Fluffy the hook up and to meet him at the Stinky Beaver, a local dive near the edge of the pond. I was hired By Fluffy's dame to watch him. Me? I am the Fox.

So, last night I'm sitting in my car, surveying the motel, right? This squirrel comes up to the car and starts washing my window. Like I really need my window washed, and besides, everyone knows that these shadowy squirrel creatures are only in it for the money. They don't care about our windows and the job that the windows do day in and day out. So i look at the Squirrel through the glass and give him my best "evil eye." Apparently my "evil eye" wasn't evil enough because the Squirrel kept on washing. So I got out of the car.

As I get out of my car and pocket my keys, I again look at the Squirrel. He looks at me with a devious gleem in his eye, and motions to the shadows. These two muscle bound Chipmunks come strolling out of the shadows from the alley that seperates the Stinky Beaver and the Silly Skunks Pawn Shop. The Squirrel looks at the Chipmunks and says "Well boys, this Fox just gave me the evil eye". The Chipmunks look at me with evil squinty eyes, and then from corner of my eye I see Fluffy Bunny leave his motel room.

I looked back at the Squirrel and the Chipmunks, and still realizing that I have to follow the Fluffy Bunny. At that point I see the chicky that the Fluffy Bunny was with it was Lolita. Lolita the Minks, she was well known in town and was the chicky to watch. I couldn't get the pics I needed to prove he was stepping out on his dame, because of these three. But I would find her and follow her again another time, for now I had to deal with these shadow creepers. I walked over to the Squirrel and told him that he was ugly, and when he looked back at the two Chipmunks I sucker punched him and grabbed the other two by their collars. Knowing that this is the wrong thing to do, but of course I do it anyway.

I found out the hard way chipmunks are tougher than they look, they had me cornered in the ally and were really givin me the once over. Just as I thought this may be curtains for me the fuzz showed up. When the hoods saw the red&blue lights they scurried up a tree the squirrel took off, but I heard him say this wasn't over. I look up and see a light shining in my eyes and said "Ya wanna point that somewhere else ya palooka? I heard the copper grumble and turn off the light. when my eyes adjusted I saw it was Sgt. Woodchuck. He had a weasel in the back of the cruiser lucky for me weasels roll over at the sign of trouble. Woodchuck got weasel to squeal on the squirrel.

After that glorious evening, i decided to call it a night and headed back to my place. I was just walking in the door when the phone rang. It was Fluffy's dame. She asked if I had the proof yet and if so, could i bring it on over for review. I told Fluffy that some things had happened that night, but that I would have more proof the next day. Fluffy's dame wasn't too happy with that. But hey, i wondered what she would do if she was dragged down an alley and had the fur roughed off of her. Lucky for me the fuzz had showed up. I decided to call it a night, get some sleep, and worry about this case in the morning.

The shrill of the telephone wakes me from my restless sleep. When I answer the phone a muffled voice tells me that Fluffy Bunny is meeting Lolita the Minks in the backroom of the Stinky Beaver this evening at 6:00, and that they were going out of town for the weekend on a "Business trip". After the mysterious phone call, I started thinking, was this a set up by the Squirrel and beefed up Chipmunks or was someone giving me a lead? All I know is I need to check it out, right after a hot shower to ease the aches caused by the steroid using Chipmunks.
