The Humans

There are two separate human villages dwelling near Crystal lake Holt. There are very different tribes. One village is named the Li’Yal village, the other is the Yon’G’Sho village.

The Li'Yal
The humans of this holt absolutely despise elves. They worship Gotara and believe the World of two Moons is theirs alone. They wage a constant war with the elves, burning the forest, killing needlessly, and torturing any elf they come upon. They are the reason there are so many warriors and hunters among the elves of Crystal lake. The Li’Yal make it dangerous to hunt in the forest, much less play, as the cubs like to do. The Li’Yal are led by a man named Borik. Borik is HUGE, with a head of bushy red hair and long beard. He is in his prime, with seven wives and who-knows-how-many children. But he is also their greatest warrior as has captured more elves than any other human in the history of Crystal Lake Holt. The humans of this tribe are sturdy, and well-built, though somewhat clumsy. Oddly enough they trade with the trolls for shiny metals to use for their spears, swords, arrowheads, and daggers. They live inside of a fortress made of tall spears of wood that reach as tall as some treetops. their homes are composed of straw-thatched huts, surrounding a communal hut. They are a formidable enemy.

Yon’G’Sho
The Yon’G’Sho are peaceful humans. They do not worship the elves but merely accept them as part of the forest. They believe the elves to be forest spirits and often leave offerings to them of shiny beads and jewelry. They despise the Li’Yal for making war on the elves and their precious forest. The Yon’G’Sho realize that if the Li’Yal continue to burn the forests, there will soon be nothing left. The Yon’G’Sho are led by a woman named An’ye. Her families bloodline has ruled for centuries, always with a woman at the head of the tribe. She is a peaceful woman with no husband, and one adopted child, a boy named Kato. Strangely enough, An’ye can speak the elves language and often speaks to the forests in hopes that they hear her prayers. Even though they are peaceful, they are by no means weak or weak-minded. They do not trade with trolls. They do make and use weapons, but mainly for hunting or defending themselves against the Li’Yal. They live in tent-like dwellings in the forest, without a fortress of walls to close them in. These tents have open flaps on the top so that the stars and sun will always shine inside their dwelling.
