Gameplay Links

1. From: Slapshott Sniper

When you get to Land's End and have to scale the cliff, there is a secret that you probably don't understand, because it is hard to explain what you do. When you finish the route of 8 shells, you land underneath Sgt. Flutter. From there, fall South West. You should land on the fourth shell. Now jump to the fifth shell, and then fall back to the first shell. This is the part when you start the clock. Right after you land on the first shell, touch the highest step on the stair case, and then quickly jump back on to the first shell. This will give you an extra second that is very valuable. After you jump back on the first shell, continue to climb, until you get to the top. If you get under 11 seconds you get 5 frog coins!

The star egg is a reusable item that does 100 damage to all enemies each time it is used. How you get it is kind of a long story... Okay, go to bean valley. Find the place with 5 pipes. Go into the top one (I think) or whichever one has the gold chain chomp. Somewhere along the upper left hand corner is an invisible platform. It'll appear when you hit it 5 times. Go on to the higher ledge and move on. Now you should be at "Grate Guy's Casino". You can't get in without a membership card (Called the "Bright Card") Here's how you get the bright card: As you might have noticed, Knife Guy is still hangin' around at Booster's Tower. Play his game until you win about 12 times. (The losses are subtracted from the wins) Then he'll give you something worth having: The Bright Card! Go to the Casino. The guards will let you in now. There are three games. The first two aren't worth your time and money. The third one, however, can get you a Star Egg. Talk to Grate Guy a few times. He'll ask you if you want to play "Look the other way." Say yes. When you've won about 100 times, (This game gets really annoying about a fourth of the way through) he'll give you the STAR EGG! The animated sequence you get when you use it is just plain WIERD!

Did you know that if you go into the menu screen, hold R and L, and press a direction the background will move in that direction!

Did you know that if you go DIRECTLY to the Mushroom Kingdom guestroom after defeating the Axem Rangers there will be a special someone waiting
there.

Did you know that if you take that free rest after playing with Gaz Link from the Zelda series will be there.

Go to the Sunken Ship. When you come to the huge pile of crates underwater with the path next to them, go behind them. Move towards the wall and to the right while behind the crates. You should 
find a secret room which contains the Safety Ring.It makes it impossible to loose all your energy in one hit.

Here are some little tidbits you might want to mention in your page

1. When the goomba triplets offer you a mushroom, read the description. It say "Recoers 30 HP but..." They missed the V in recovers!

2. At the wedding in Marrymore, after all the wedding gear falls off, how does the crown mysteriously appear on Booster's head?

3. Lastly, when you get to mushroom kingdom for the first time, after getting introduced to the king, go into Princess's room, then press A when standing beside the chair. It'll say "You got the princess's ???" The maid tells you to put it down, and gives you something in return. Then, when Mack the knife comes, before you fight him, kill off all the bouncer guys in the castle, then go in princesses room. Toad goes over to the chair, picks up a flower tab, and gives it to you. If you try pressing A on the chair after Princess is in your party, she'll get mad and tell you "not to snoop in other's homes" Maybe Princess has a pet Hamster or something?

Try this. Take Mario, Princess, and Bowser to fight Jonathan Jones. Kill all of his sharks except one, have Princess use sleepy time to put him to sleep, then attack Jonathan Jones. When the shark wakes up put him back to sleep, then continue attacking Jonathan Jones, this way Mario never fights Jonathan Jones alone!

7. From: Ryan Rhyce

An easy way to level up is to come to a point where you find a star. Ignore the star and save as near as possible.
Now unequip everything. Go to the star, kill all the baddies, do not save, and make sure you are killed in battle right after that.
You will instantly be transported back to the save block with all the experience you just gained, and the star with the enemies still there. I have gone up 15 levels in a day.
This works especially well in the entrance to the sea and the underground cavern between Land's End and Belome's Temple.

Go to Booster Tower and press the "Booster Pass" Button. Go to Booster Pass and remove all weapons, accessories and Armor and drop your HP to a single digit number (This makes it easier) and go through the secret cave, you'll meet a "Snifit Apprentice" who wants to be Snifit #4. Let him win-- You won't start over, but you'll overhear that he now will become Snifit #4. Exit the Cave and re-enter. You find a Snifit #5 wannabe, let him win, etc. etc. until you let a Snifit #8 Wannabe win. Go to Booster Tower (Put oin everything you took off) and continue until you see four Snifits and an Apprentice. Indeed, there's #4, #5, #6, and #7 (Talk to them for amusement!). But the Apprentice tells you that (Gasp) Booster only lets in 7 Snifits! It doesn't affect the game's outcome, but it is funny!

If you go to Marrymore, there is a really nice suite you can stay in. Everyone knows that. Spend the night in the suite and wake up in the morning. Turn off the lights again. That will cost another 100 coins but you can stay even if you don't have any money left. Keep turning off the lights so you have stayed longer than you payed for. When you go downstairs, the inn keeper will be furious! You'll have to work for him! HA! When you show the guests to their rooms, they'll sometimes tip you for your service, sometimes not. But one guy will be extra nice and give you a whole flower BOX! Wow! I believe that you get 5 flower points for using the box. I call this the extra large tip secret. Try it.

INVISIBLE PEOPLE:

1. Go to Mushroom Kingdom now go up the straight path to the kingdom.Go behind the first house youll find a invisible guy.

2. Go to Rose town in the upper left hand corner. Go behind the house and press the talk button.

At Booster Pass, I have a trick for getting coins:

Go to Booster Pass at any time, find the screen with holes with Spikeys in the holes. Hop off the "cliff" and press against the right side of the"cliff". When you come to a spot where there is a rectangle shpe dug into the "cliff" go inside it. When Mario can't walk any farther, jump East. Mario will land on a hidden exclamation switch, and the switch will fill in the holes, and the Spikeys will turn into coins!

If you stay at the Marrymore inn 3 times you'll get a surprise; and for about every 3-5 times you stay there after that you get more items.

13. From: Grayson

Go to Bean Valley and beat the big plant(to get to Nimbus Land). Grab the seed off the note. In Nimbus after you beat Valentina, walk along side the right against the air! You will be in midair! Talk to shy away and get the fertilizer. Go to Rose Town. In the back there will be an exit, follow it. Talk to the guy in the house. he will plant the stuff. Climb the plant. There will be some armor and a weapon; get 'em!

In Mario RPG you can become a bellboy here is how.

Step 1. make sure you have between 200 and 300 coins
step 2. go to marrymore stay in the hotel and stay in the suite
step 3. after you spend the night talk to the mushroom light it will say
you only paid for 1 night would you like to stay again? say yes, keep doing
this for a while.
step 4. try to leave, the hotel manager will stop you and say you only paid
for 1 night i charge 100 coins for every extra night, then he says "WHOA
your broke!", then he makes you work as a bellboy.

You know that enemy at Land's End that becomes formless until you hit it with magic, then it turns into Moduka? Anyway, it actually has a secret with it. Beat it a couple of times, and you'll get a KeroKeroCola! I kept on going back and forth through the whirlpools until that cloud shows up.

16. From: Slapshott Sniper

1) In Booster's Tower, you CAN fight Booster. Just let him find you 3 times. You'll get 22 exp., 145 coins, and an item. If you're lucky, you'll get a Flower Box!

2) When you fight Culex, you must have brain power. First of all, you MUST equip the Princess with the Lazy Shell and the Safety Ring. Equip Bowser with the Safety Badge and Trueform Accesories. Have Mario and Bowser fight using regular attacks on Culex. Once Mario and Bowser are dead, DON"T bring them back. Culex can't kill the Princess, because she has the Lazy Shell. My advice, make sure her HP is over 70, and has FP. There is a happy ending though. The monsters will run out of FP. When this happens to 2 or 3 monsters, Bring Mario and Bowser back, and say bye to Culex.

If you did not know this, 30 super jumps in a row gives you an attack scarf, and 100 jumps gives you a super suit. Just do the jumps and go to the CHOW in MONSTRO TOWN.

Having problems winning the Yoshi Races the first time? Fear not my friend! Here is a great way to win! Press 'A' and 'B' at the same time during the race every possible second, and you should win!

You've probably wondered why that baby yoshi is there on Yoshi's Island. Well if you feed him around 25 cookies AFTER you win the first race (when you get every Yoshi to race together), he'll turn bigger. Feed him about 30 more and he pops out an egg and you'll get a frog coin!

If you have the "Lazy Shell" armor and all, and you go to the "Three Musty Fears" place in Monstro Town, and you get all the flags, and they give you the Medal, they take your "Lazy Shell kick" but leave the armor. If you have another weapon for Mario, they put that in its place.

You probably know that in order to fight Culex, you need to buy fireworks and then get the Shiny Stone. But why does the Father Mole keeps on trying to make to buy more fireworks. Well, you should buy the fireworks for 500 coins and then sell them for 250 coins. Do this 5 times and you'll see a better fireworks display during the ending of the game!

Speed tells who will attack first when you are in battle. An example is when you have Geno, Mallow, and Mario out in Moleville fighting whoever, and you want mallow to go first, use his Thunderbolt spell, and get all those enemies out of the way. First, equip Mallow so that he has the most Speed points in the group. (This will be hard since Geno has 30 speed points.) Then when you fight, Mallow will go first.
I don't think you knew this, but there is a VERY fast way to get Exp. points. Its even faster than with Invinsibility stars. This occurs in the Sunken Ship. Put Mallow in between Bowser and Mario. Equip Mallow with the Work Pants and Zoom Shoes. Meanwhile have Mario and Bowser equipped with Fearless pins, trueform pins, or something like that. But most impotantly make sure Mallow has the most Speed points. Anyway, in the Sunken ship there is a room right before you face the monster, Hidon, and get the Safety Badge. In that room are three Bones characters. When you fight them, 5 ghosts will appear. If you have Mallow's speed above 30 points, he will attack before any of them! Use Thunderbolt, and knock out all the ghosts! I would suggest being at least on level 18 for this trick! But it does come in handy, because for each time you win, you get 27 Exp. Points, 18 coins, and Pure Water!

After Mallow joins your party, go to the item shop and talk to the owner. After you talk, go away and the owner will stop you and give you a free pick me up.

I slept in the Inn in Nimbus land 9 or 10 times (60 coins for the bed and the pillow each!) and when you wake up, Toad scares Mario, Mario runs to the corner, and Toad gives Mario a RED ESSANCE!!!!

First get the Bright Card, (I don't wanna explain it, someone else already does in one of these pages) Find the Casino, (It's explained in one of these pages) Talk to Grate Guy until he asks you if you wanna play the "Look the Other Way" game. Win about 62 or 63 times and he gives you a RED ESSANCE!!!! (you don't have to win consecutively).

Iin the Sunken Ship, there is a hidden flower. When you enter the sunken ship, go to the third screen where the rats are running up and down the stairs. On the top right part of your screen are boxes shaped like an "M." Fall through the top of the "M" and you will recieve a flower.
Go to Booster's Tower. Find the room where Booster meets you for the first time on a train. Get away from the door, and go against the wall with the door. Stay along the wall, and go through the passage way on the upper left part of the screen. There, you will find a Flower Tab. Also, when you get to this part the first time, you can follow the train tracks, and go through the other passage way.
In Mushroom way, don't rescue Toad at all. Just go through the game ignoring him. When you get to the Hammer Bro's, you will have to fight them the first time you see them. Then at the end, there will be a
different sequence at which Mario receives the hammer. I wouldn't do this though, because you miss out on a Honey Syrup and a Flower Tab.

If you put the Quartz Charm (+50% on attack and magic attack +100% defense and magic defense prevents fatal attacks) on somebody and have them do a damage causing item, they will do 50% more damage.(So far though I have only tried it with the Star Egg and Rock Candy)(If someone used Shredder on you, it won't work)

In rose town after you get knocked out talk to the kids mom and your given a choice one will allow you to have a laugh. Go up stairs then go down stairs stay at the inn and when you wake up toad will be by the bed talk to him and he will give you a flower tab or jar.

At Nimbus Land, right after you beat Valentina, go into the room near the throneroom that you couldn't get into before. (It's the door that Bowser wanted to knock down, just Mallow wouldn't let him.) The guard that gave you the first Castle Key will be there. When you talk to him, he'll give you a Flower Jar!

When you use princess's sleepy time , it will say "Rotate Control Pad!" But if you rotate the Pad AND keep pressing the Y button it will make lots of little sheep come down, instead of one, also it will make all characters sleep!

An easy way to get into the gateway

Destroy one of the sword's eyes. Then have Geno use the Geno Whirl on Exor (the top of the sword). It will take off 9999 HP!
