This comic starts off with a wealthy man named Kenneth Irons, he starts to talk to the air walking into a gallery, he walks up to an object that seems to be covered and you can't make out what it is. We then go to the star of this comic series Sara Pezzini, getting all dressed up for her occasion. (I think guys started drowling looking at what she was wearing.) She starts off by talking about her past and how much she knew that she would be a cop and stuff. Sara goes to some place to make a bust and runs into a man and named Yee who is actually her partner. After they busted the people in the room, they head back to the police station and Sara gets a big yelling from her cheif. She never looks him in the face because when he yells there is this big vain on his forhead that pops up and makes her want to laugh so she always keeps her head down. After words Sara and Yee head down to talk to a guy from the bust and when they ask him questions he says he doesn't know, until Sara forces him to.

NOTE: When Iron walks through his gallery that is full of woman wearing the Witchblade, you can notice that there is a painting in there that looks very much like Shi (COOL!!)^_^*.

At some theater Iron and this guy with long hair named Nottingham. They are watching at this tournament where Iron has many people try on the covered object and see whether that person is it's wielder, but it hasn't started yet. Sara and Yee are at a murder site and are investigating the area. They go into a room where a woman is sitting in a position and that the killer put the woman in that position. She was killed in a strange way, burned from the inside out. On a drive back Sara leaves Yee and goes up beside this guy and gains her entrance in. Inside Nottingham uncovers the object to reveal a gauntlet which is called the Witchblade. A man walks up and tries it on then the Witchblade tears part of his arm off. (ouch!) That's when Nottingham noticed Yee. They drag him into the center stage and ready to shoot him. Sara runs in the line of fire and gets herself shot, but Yee still was shot himself. Sara then reaches out a hand to the Witchblade and it binds with her, covering her wounds and everything. She then fights off the men trying to get her quickly. Yee then calls to her and they talk for a short time before he died away. (sniff sniff)

In this one it starts off from where #1 left off. Sara then starts to think and then pulls the Witchblade off and al her wounds open up and she faints of blood lost. She then wakes up in the hospital and they all chat for awhile and Nottingham listens in from a cracked open door. That night a woman came and visited a woman that layed in the bed not to far from Sara's and watching that emotional moment Sara begins to cry. Sarry sleeped for 18 hours then awoke and the nurse told her that she recieved flowers from Kenneth Irons. Sara then got on her feet, dressed and left.

In a restraunt Irons, Nottingham and another guy chat for awhile and then a man walks up, points and shoots at Iron. Nottingham caught the bullet with his bare hand and then goes to kill the guy and another guy that tried to run him over. We then go back to Sara who walks up to this homeless girl named Lisa. Sara takes her into her home and they chat for awhile. Sara listens to her messages then Janet Yee (Micheal Yee's wife) leaves a message about him having to come home. Sara then goes to her work office at 2 a.m. and she gets the Witchblade and heads to the morge. At the same time, Iron performs some kind of ritual for Nottingham and leaves some weird mark on his hand. Sara places the hand with the Witchblade on and places it on Yee's forehead. She then doubted being able to bring him back to life and turns away, just when Yee's corpsed body sits up. (eeeek!!)

In this one Sara then notices Yee alive, he tries to tell her to kill him, but she kept talking, then finally the Witchblade killed him. She gets angered at the Witchblade and pulls it off her hand leaving ugly cuts. When she gets home, Jake shows up at her house with a teddy bear. Only Sara wasn't in a good mood and she yells at him. She retreats to a workout place and releaves her stress by punching the punching bag. Iron then shows up and talks to her and leaving a peice of paper and told her to call him sometime. As she was walking home a car pulls over and some guys try to grab her, but she gives them a hard time at first before they finally knocked her out. She came back on a cruise boat and this guy that Iron was chatting with in the restraunt in issue #2 tells Sara to put on the Witchblade. When she refused he shot her once in the shoulder and told her to put it on again. When she still didn't put it on, he shot her a couple of more times and walked off to let her die. She then reaches out to the Witchblade and it binds with her again. Shooting at her enemies once she then retreat to the water, and they tried to shoot at her in the water. She then reaches shore and kills the last of them. The Witchblade told her to run, but she didn't when a helicopter showed up and out jumped Nottingham.

In this one there is a short scene where Jake talks to the people in the workout place and after a little arguing they finally tell him what he wanted to know. It then goes back to Sara and Nottingham who then start to fight. At first the Witchblade refused to fight, but Sara got to her. Her and Nottingham fought for awhile then finally she shoot at the weird mark that Iron had put onto Nottingham's hand, causing the Witchblade to become powerless. Nottingham then tells her that he won't kill her quick and easy, but slowly. We then go to Lisa and the Police Station and she asks about where Sara was. After a little bit of talking to the police officers, the cheif kinda saves Lisa from some major weirdo, but then Lisa left.

Sara is still in Nottingham's grip and couldn't break free, and right when he was gonna kill her a man saves her, and it happened to be Irons. After getting rid of Nottingham. (not killing him of course.) He then goes to Sara's side and gives her his nice looking coat and takes her home. Instead she goes to Jakes house and stays the night there. Him sleeping on the couch and her getting the bed. That night while everyone was asleep, the Witchblade then binds with Sara again, completely covering her. Recoperating I guess.

Sara woke up with the Witchblade on and Jake cooking breakfast. He then looked at her shock and how fast her scratches and wounds healed. She then dressed in some of Jakes clothes and left. Jake then noticed that the look on his door was broken. In what looks like a cellar, Iron talks on the phone with someone and Nottingham tied up and has like a pressure suit on. With the guy that almost killed Sara on the boat with a bullet through his head.

Lisa is at a fashion company and talks to a woman about working there, the woman introduces her to the president of the company and she tells Lisa that she has the look that she is looking for for her spring shows. We then go to Irons and Nottingham who are at another restraunt and talk buisness with and man prefered to be called by sting. Sara then desides to stop by Irons work, he leaves in the middle of a meeting to met with her, but she had already fled. Later on that night she was up on the computer looking up what she can on Kenneth Irons, then found herself asleep. She was then in dream state and in her dream she ran into Nottingham, he talked to her for awhile then he woke up.

Sara and a lot of other people gather for the funeral of Micheal Yee. After that was over Sara stopped by a coffee shop, that's when Iron showed up with the coffee he had promised. They talked for awhile and he invited her to go to his place and that they talk about the Witchblade. When they get there, Iron starts to talk about when he first heard of the Witchblade, that his father believed it to be an extraterestial item. It had been around for centeries, and he finally descovered it in Greece. He then lead Sara into his private gallery full of ancient artifacts with each Witchblade wielder. Sara then started to talk about Joan of Arcs, that she was one of the Witchblade wielder. She then asked him about her attack at Liberty Island. Irons then blamed it all on Nottingham. He then started to talk about almost each artifact that he owned, dating back to about 340 b.c.? He then gave her two choices, to have him teach her how to control the Witchblade, or he would help her remove it. Well, hidden Nottingham listens to the coversation. Suddenly Irons pager went off and he had to escort Sara out the door. While Sara walked home Nottingham decided to drop by. She continued to fight him back until finally he pinned her to the ground and told her that he only wanted to talk.

In this issue Sara was pretty much talking to Nottingham, but since she was unable to defend herself in anyway, she had to stick around since there was no way she could win this battle with him. He said that he began to talk about Liberty Island and stuff not giving her a chance to speak and stuff. Finally when she was able to speak she turned to face him he had dissapeared. When Sara had returned to her apartment, there was a sticker on her door saying that her apartment was evicted. A lady then showed up at her house and had a couple of things in her hands and said that Irons was having a charity ball or something. Since was at such a short notice she had picked up a couple of things for her to wear. She got to the ball and Irons introduced her to a person that was an idol of hers. Jake then shows up with pictures and wanted to show Sara, but she refused to look at them and knocked them out of his hands. Unable to get to her Jake stromed out and left. Irons then took Sara for a ride and they chatted somewhat on the way. Sara continued to try and get Irons to explain to her what his problem was. But he wouldn't say, and he kept wanting her to get quiet. When they had gotten to a house, Sara began to talk and apologizing for the insodent with Jake. Irons then burst out with anger about how she could of humiliated him in public. He continued yelling and then the Witchblade started to poke at her causing her to bleed. He then finally got a bit quieter and turned to Nottingham telling him that she was ready for him.

In this one Iron talks to Sara while Nottingham kinda prepared himself for what he was about to do. He had jabbed on of his swords into the groud and brought Sara to her feet tearing her dress. While Iron continued to talk he said that those who hope to much shall die of starvation. Nottingham then turned sides and attacked Irons. Sara stood stuned for a while and Irons beat the crap out of Nottingham and lost a hand in the process. He then threw Nottingham out the window and Sara became mad at the Witchblade and told Irons to just take it. Irons then rolled down the sleeve on the hand that he lost revealing his own mark on his arm. Then the Witchblade then became a part of him, but not taking the one that Sara wore on her hand. Jake then showed up and started shooting at Irons. Shooting a string of the Witchblade through one of Jakes shoulders he was brought to his knees. Sara tried to save him, but Irons shoot at her and when she saw Jake looking at her she then saw Yee in the same position. That's when the Witchblade she wore became active. She challenged Irons, but he refused it at first until Sara shot at him with the Witchblade's powers. He then accepted it. In their fight she said to Irons that he was stupid that he missed the one thing that was common amongst his gallery collection. That the Witchblade o nly choose wo man and no other. He was angered by that remark and that the Witchblade obeyed his every command. Sara finally over powered Irons and the Witchblade on him melted away. He was left powerless. Only he still tried to fight her. He caught himself from falling when Sara hit with a hard elbow to the side. He was left in a lost battle and he wanted to be killed, but Sara wouldn't do so, so he let go of what he held onto and fell to his death.
