"The Dark River In Which We Bath Our Souls Nightly. And Like A River, It Bears Gifts From Lipstream From The Distant Lands Of Vision And Rememberance. The Wisdom OF Yoshitora And The Cherry Blossoms OF MT. Hiei. More Than Anything Else, These Were Signposts That Guided Me As I Embarked On The Way OF The Warrior."

At the begining of this tale Ana's grandfather talks to her and gives her a nagitana that once belonged to her father. She then sees a beautiful lily and she runs to it. Grandfather: "My Child, Wait! Do Not Forsake Your Focus So Easily, Even When Moved By Passion. When You Welcome Distractions You Are Actually Running From Yourself. And That Can Only Result In Losing Your Way."

As he speeks a horrible Samuri appears, a little action here and the end is horrible, fortunatly for Ana it was only a dream.

Meanwhile two cops talk about a crime scene that happend not to long ago, they say that the killer didn't use guns, but a big knife, like a machete. Hm? I wonder who...? *^_^*

Well, to go through the rest of the comic, the cops don't really have that much of evidence to prove much, only the prints that were on a flashlight of a surviving witness. Mainly throughout these comics Ana would go through stages of past time memories and things she had learned from her grandfather.

It's now night time and Ana goes out for the night, she reaches this man's house, they fight and Ana has flashes of ancient warriors in battle. In the end Ana or course wins, but she still got her beating in this.

NOTE: Shi - pronounced as "she". Meaning: A Japanese word standing for death.
The next morning the officers get called in, when they walk into the room the man's body lies dead with the mark of "Shi" painted on the wall.

"Sleep, The Dark River In Which We Bath Our Souls Nightly. While At The Bottom Of Still Waters A Great Fish Lies Smiling, Knowin The He Swims Too Deeply And Too Wisely For The Fisherman Ever To Catch."

At police headquarters, they are interveiwing a man that Ana met in #2. They question him about why his man would choose a sword over the guns her could of used. "One Reason, Is That It's A Matter Of Honor. To Overarm Oneself May Be Interpreted As A Lacck Of Self-Confidence Or A Sign Of Pure Malice. That Is, The Desire To Assassinate, Not To Battle. And That Is Hardly The Way Of The Warrior."

On a roof, Ana draws back an arrow ready to shoot, but a kid shows up, after a little while the kid had to leave to watch a T.V. show. Ana then quickly turns back to a car driving by and shoots her arrow quickly, killing the driver. The group in the car soon encounters another gang... I guess. A shoot out then happens and the battle begins. Ana soon after joins the fight and kills any survivors, a huge explosion then happens and she jumps into some water.

In the end Ana is at her church lighting candles and probably asking for forgiveness. And in her time there she remembers how her mother used to bring her there. All in all it just plan ends... so time for the next comic.

Here Arashi invites wanted man over to his house, (I will call him by his last name, Campbell) Campbell soon gets a hold of a gun and starts blasting away, of course Arashi being smart and with only a shimmer of his sword flies around, and the last thing Campbell saw was him falling apart.

Note: Tomoe and Shi are mortal enemy's, but when their masks are removed they are close friends.
It goes back to Ana whom starts recalling her past, of a very good friend of hers by the name of Tomoe Gazon.

Ana then appears at a room with two guys, she starts thinking about what her grandfather has taught her, and when the time was right, she striked. The first guy was down quite easily, but the second gave her quite a beating. The fight between the two lasts a couple of pages, hen finally the bastard dies.
Note: Hey!! This issue comes with a neat Cyblade pinup. ^_^* Just thought I'd let you know.

It then goes to the two copes where Joe asks Pete about clues, then it got to a point where Pete took Ana out to lunch and Joe kinda takes it the wrong way. But anyhow that all, it's the end of this comic.

At the begining of this one Ana goes to some kind of ceremony where these children let go of some kind of fish you see a lot in Japanese movies. (I sorta forgot what they are called... opps.) During this it starts to get to the sensiteve part of Ana and she runs off to the church, but it was closed. This is where Pete shows up, I guess his feelings for her are starting to grow. ^_^*. Ana then returns back to the building and the officer allows her to come in and make her offering.

When Ana was alone, she somehow ends up in her costume, ans the same samuri from issue #2 shows up behind her. They fall into the water and battle. (how could they hold their breath so long.) Soon something weird happens, but I'm not going to spoil it. But elsewhere Arashi gets the arrival of "the six warriors of Nara." Next!!

Shi #6

Note: Tomoe #1 and Shi #6 are the same issue just different covers.
Tomoe and her five companions go on the prowl this night, while Ana is safe at home talking on the phone with her mother. The six warriors finally kill the last survivor and leave the mark of "shi". When the cops finally show up at the sceene they see the man is dead and smiling.

Arashi is in a scene of a bamboo forest, he then ecounters with Shi, who is glowing in blue. They battle for sometime, and when Arashi come to he realizes that he was only practicing with his companion, Koji.

We then skip to (yes Skip) Pete and Ana who are all dressed up, dancing and chatting at the sametime. Surrounded by other eligantly dressed people and bones of dinosaurs. (thier in a museum.)

When all was done and over with, Pete and Ana leave the museume and head to Ana's home. Only at the steps of her apartment building there sits non other than Tomoe.
ADD: Another thing. For a couple of issues for Tomoe we have two or three pages of "Eenieweenie Comics" which are in black and white and guest stars "Shi!!" These things are pretty silly, you should check them out sometime *^_^*

Ana and Tomoe are very happy to see each other, and Tomoe stays at Ana's apartment, they stay up for sometime chatting. After awhile Tomoe finally goes to sleep, but before Ana knew it she started flashing through a couple of memories that recently happend and past time.

Well, somewhere else four people who are very much into finding out more about Shi. They talk about her for awhile and they got four different pics of the way they think she would look like, but by looking at them, I say none of them actually fit her.
The Four Shi: They got one of Shi looking very military, then half naked fluffy haired Shi, With a gold sword and a big gun. Then you got the demon one, she looks like she's wearing a mask and has these very long fingures. (ick) Last you got the Zorro kinda shi, which I don't think any of these actually suite her.

Shi is out and about and she heads to a building and to where a weird looking guy has already struck and killed a lot of people there. She gets a good shoot at him at first, but after that she gets mangled.

Ana's grandfather then shows up sorta saving Shi. Him and the man fight and it's actually a bit quick, at least I think. Ana's grandfather calls her "AO-BA-CHAN." Which means "Green Leaf Child." Which he is referring to Ana's pretty green eyes.

In this one it starts off with a scene between Ana and her grandfather at the same spot they were in the last issure. Her grandfather then handed Ana a case that held a warriors outfit that once belonged to her grandmother.

After some time Shi goes to a building to where some people are pretty anxious to get a hold of her, but the kid she first met with on the roof in issue #3, he warns her of the people around there, and here's where everything gets rough. (Oh Yeah!)

Ana had already returned home after her battle and was awaken by someone at the door. Tomoe showed up a bit desturbed and they talked about it and before she left she said:"we'll ALWAYS Be Friends, Ana, And Believe Me, There's Nothing More Horrible Than A Duty One Is Compelled To Undertake... GOOD-BYE."

To bad for me and you guys this is where it ends, ther are more comics still to come out, but unfortunatly I am unable to get them for there is no comic store near to where I live that sells "Shi" comics. (don't that just suck in my account? ):

I still have covers of other comics though. ^_^* Just below you can click on them and veiw them just not find out about the comic.
