Here is where I tell you about the comics that I own and have read. I don't have much of the Tomoe series, just four comics. Which is pretty pathetic.

This story starts off when Arashi calls to them. The "warriors of Nara." No body says much, but it goes straight to a battle between Tomoe and a guy named Taki. While they fight, Gojira, Yasuna, and Keisai sit back and watch them fight. In the end of course Tomoe has to win. Because Tomoe won, Taki wasn't so pleased about it. Before fleeding, he throws a dagger at Tomoe hitting her in the shoulder, then runs off into a forest.

Taki ends up in Osaka and meets up with Kaoyo and her brother Nichi. Taki had told Kaoyo and Nichi that Tomoe had lost the contest for leadership and her honor. Only Kaoyo noticed something. That if Tomoe had dishonored herself then why would Gojira be with her and why would Taki go to her first and not the temple. (hmm...good question.)

Tomoe and Gojira followed Taki into an ally, then found their way into a restraunt where he would of fleed. Tomoe was hestitant about entering in, but Gojira wasn't, then before Tomoe could say it might of been a trap, Taki had already wounded Gojira and Tomoe had brought Gojira into a freezer and used her head thingy to cover his wounds. Taki then came into attack and they fought for a while before Tomoe finally killed him with her fan.

Gojira had told Tomoe that the people in the restraunt had called the police, but Tomoe didn't mind, they'd of disappeared before the police would arrive. Tomoe had to carry Gojira to the roof of a building. It then goes back to Arashi as he talks to them, he tells them that he has everything ready for them and they could start in the morning, but Tomoe says different, she says they start tonight.

Note: Tomoe #1 and Shi #6 are the same issue just different covers.
Tomoe and her five companions go on the prowl this night, while Ana is safe at home talking on the phone with her mother. The six warriors finally kill the last survivor and leave the mark of "shi". When the cops finally show up at the sceene they see the man is dead and smiling.

Arashi is in a scene of a bamboo forest, he then ecounters with Shi, who is glowing in blue. They battle for sometime, and when Arashi come to he realizes that he was only practicing with his companion, Koji.

We then skip to (yes Skip) Pete and Ana who are all dressed up, dancing and chatting at the sametime. Surrounded by other eligantly dressed people and bones of dinosaurs. (thier in a museum.)

When all was done and over with, Pete and Ana leave the museume and head to Ana's home. Only at the steps of her apartment building there sits non other than Tomoe.
ADD: Another thing. For a couple of issues for Tomoe we have two or three pages of "Eenieweenie Comics" which are in black and white and guest stars "Shi!!" These things are pretty silly, you should check them out sometime *^_^*

At the begining of this issue Tomoe and the others gather in an ally as they honor Gojira's death. All of them then talk about what happened and how Gojira got into the ally. Keishai says that it may of been the spirits and Kaoyo says the Tengu, the spirits of the forest. But Tomoe doesn't think they are at war with spirits, but with men instead. As Tomoe continued to talk Yasuna sees something up on a building hiding in the shadow then yells out that she saw one of the spirits that her father and Kaoyo were talking about. Tomoe gets a little angered with Yasuna, then Keishai says that he is sure that she wouldn't of just had a childest imagination, that she really could of seen something. Tomoe then gets a little angered with Keishai, and soon calms down.

Tomoe then goes to Arashi's home and they chat for a while, he shows her a painting that he is going to buy from Ana's work and that he is a man that loves to possess beautiful things. She is also affraid that Ana would be one that he may try to possess as well. Arashi then tells Tomoe that the gang that they had killed the other night were not exactly to the ground yet and that he would like them to attack the gangster once again. And so they do, they go to a yacht in the Hudson river and strick, killing many people. Tomoe goes after Moroni the man that Arashi had wanted them to kill and Tomoe nearly gets killed and Moroni gets away. They then head back and near an unfinishe building, Yasuna sees the strange figure again and starts chasing it up the building. Tomoe and the others try to stop her, but she had a big head start. Yasuna reached high up the building and starts yelling, that's when the thing she had saw tried to talk to her. Yasuna was shocked that he was able to sneak up on her without her knowing, and she tried to reach for her bow, but lost her footing on the unfinished building and fell. The others came to her side, but she was dead.

In this one Tomoe hids in the shadows and over hears what Arashi had out done her and her band. Tomoe felt angered at him for this, but didn't attack him. It then goes back to Yasuna just died, her Keichai and all the others, had gotten into an arguement. Tomoe then leaves and ends up roaming the streets of New York, as she continued to roam, she found herself in the area where Shi was and fought her own battle, which I think is in Shi #8. She kills a couple of soldiers then looks through the eye thingy of one of the guns and sees Shi and regonizes her and knows that she is Ana. She continued to fight in the war zone that Ana was elsewhere in. One of her targets had gotten away in the sewer and Tomoe didn't bother to chase after him. Instead Keichai had found her, she and him talked and she told him that she sent Kaoyo and Nichi back to the temple. Keichai told her that her heart was telling her that she wasn't meant to be a leader of any band, but that she was meant to fight alone.

We then go to Kaoyo and Nichi who are back at the temple and they talk about who had dishonored the band. They blame it on Tomoe, but they say that Tomoe has a battle yet to fight and that one of them must pay for the crime. Kaoyo takes the dagger that was offered and was about to kill herself, but the priest told her that she wasn't to kill herself since she is the one who accepted the dagger with honor, she then ends up killing her own brother and says that she will be going after Tomoe next. After that, Tomoe stops by Ana's gallery and leaves a plant with a note, it has the sign of "Shi" on it and a circle of where Tomoe wants Ana to go.
