Page 12: Items

You'll encounter lots of items in the game. Some are rare and can only be found once. Some are very common and can be found lying on the ground. Some can only be bought at certain stores.

Items can be found on the ground in the shape of a little circle. To pick up an item you see, walk up to it and press A. The game will then tell you "(your name) got (name of item)!" There's no way to tell what an item is before you pick it up.

Sometimes, you can find items lying on the ground that are hidden. You either use ITEMFINDER or just sorta guess.
For example, on the S.S. Anne, a cook tells you that he saw a strange ball in the trash. You go to the trash cans. There are three. Walk up to one and press A. It will either say "There's nothing but trash here." or "(your name) got GREAT BALL!" If you get the first message, try a different trash can.

Here's a list, in alphabetical order, of all the items in the game.
