Fun Halloween Costumes

You can be a hobo...
with regular blue jeans, a baggy shirt,
and a little stick with your handkerchief tied on it.

You can be a ninja with black pants,
a black hooded shirt,
and a piece of black cloth to cover
the lower half of your face.
Cut stars out of cardboard
and cover them with aluminum foil
to make your very own ninja throwing stars.

You can be a ghost by cutting eye holes
in an old white sheet.

You can be a strawberry by
wearing red sweat pants,
a red sweatshirt,
and cutting green leaves out of felt
or construction paper to attach around your collar.

You can be a gypsy fortune teller by
wearing a loose flowered skirt, a pretty blouse,
and lots of bracelets and necklaces.

You can be a mummy by tearing an old sheet
into strips and wrapping them around you.
Make sure all your ends are tucked in to be safe.
