Your characters can now interact with the campaign world even when there is not an event on! To do this you must either email, snail mail or telephone your orders through to me, Tilly. I will then after a short time (or long time depending upon what your orders where) send you a response informing you of what came of you characters actions.

This does mean that you can earn experience points when not doing adventures at an event, however you will not earn as much as you would if you where actually playing in-character. This is because there is less chance of you dying when playing by mail.

Ok ok, I will tell you how to play be email. First you must have a character! This always helps in matters such as this! Then you must either compose an email or snail mail letter, there first section of which should contain all the information on you characters sheet. My advice would be to save this in a separate file and cut and paste every time you wish to send in orders. If you fail to supply all you information then the order will be processed on the information that we have, this could mean you character is under performing. The main information that we need is Life, IS, Mana, Courage, Race, Class, Skills and Spells, Alignment and Fealties.

You then must decide what it is you want you character to do! Now you can be as specific or as vague as you like at this point. However the more vague your orders are the less control you will have over the out come. For example, if you orders where "I will search the lands for a +1 magical sword". Not only will it take you a long time because it is a pretty large area to search, but it does not specify what you will do when you find one. A better way of say the above would be "I will travel to all the major city's of Kingari that have armoury's and gather information on the price's of magical weapons". This will allow greater control over what you do!

Also you must remember that your character is not invincible! If you do something silly, then you will end up dead! Its all very simple!
