| A furry, for lack of a better definition is an anthropormorphic animal. Ok, now you're asking what anthropormorphic means. It means human characteristics on somthing that doesn't have them. So what is an anthropormorphic animal look like? Bugs Bunny is one. He's a pretty good example. | ||||||||||

| A furry is a person who has some connection to the furry fandom or one of it's aspects. There are many ways this can be done. One example is doing art of animals that look like humans. (Walk on two legs, have two arms, etc....) Others include believing you're an animal in a human body, able to transform into one, or used to be one in a past life to list a few of the more weird ones. | ||||||||||

I had the good and bad points of being furry up, but I decided to take them down. Why? Because in the last year or so, I've got some opinions to my remarks, and my personal attitude has changed. How so? Glad you asked. What the f**k is with 90% of furs hating humans??!!!! I mean, here we have a furry mailing list, and there's one person playing a human. What happens? He get's flamed for being human. (He also got flamed for other things too, but the initial ones were over his character being human) And the sad thing is, this isn't the first time this happened. Why is it that furs hate humans so much? I mean, for f**k sake, YOU ARE A HUMAN!!!! Personally, in my opinion, the reason some furs think they are animals in human bodies, or wish to be a furry is the same damn reason trekkies are viewed as what they are. You are trying to get away from being what you are, a human being, and probably, 85% likly, on the lower side of society. F**k, that's why I initially got into the fandom, because I was an outsider. That changed, and I grew up. Am I still a furry? Yep, my hearts there, but I see too often people being morons about it. There are good things to the fandom, suck as an outlet for people to explore who they are, and make friends, and even make girlfriends. Those are good things, but I've also seen some really weird stuff, and heard about a lot more than I care to know. Recently in a Vanity Affair magazine article, they talk about furries. Lots of good points, but then they talk about this one fur. (read the article and find out who.....and be warned.....) This guy....*shakes head* Oh my....talk about a problem to the fandom. In the end, he (as far as I can tell) wants to lay the interviewer while wearing a fursuit. F**k, what a moron! The article isn't all bad, there are some good folk who are interviewed in the article. They make some very good points and statements about the fandom, but the damage gets done by that one fur. Furries will never be fully mainstream, and if they do become so, then I feel a lot of furs will talk about how the fandom has lost a lot of it's wonderment. Why? Because suddenly, they aren't special anymore. Now they're normal, and god forbid if they aren't special. I mean, a majority of society isn't special. And I find a lot of furs are against God. Why? Because of many reasons, some because they feel God abandoned them by sticking them in human bodies, or that God is this big evil force. I mean, come on! I believe in a higher power, and I could go into more detail about it, but personally, I find that thier anger towards God disgusting. You wonder why Christians don't like you? It's because you're f**king bashing thier god! Anyone would take offence to that!! Oh, I have more. A lot more still in me, but I'll write about it later. Sure, you can argue with me however long you want. We won't change each other's minds, and in the end it'll resemble two children fighting. Instead, think on it, and if you can, e-mail me, and we'll talk. Just talk, not argue, just talk. Ok? | ||||||||||
