Palace of Otosan-Uchi users can bring this baby out for a mere three gold, will add at least 3 force to the unit, and gain you 4 honor. You'll have to attach multiple followers on this unit to use this standard effectively. The problem is losing the favor, and for military decks, the problem is getting the favor. Possible targets are limited too, the best targets are Tohakus or Shotai, since Yoritomo Kamoto can only attach one follower. This standard is more useful in a honor deck than in a military one.
