Game Note:
Seppun Toshiken may seem like another useless dueler at first glance, low force, high chi, and a high cost. However, for Palace of Otosan-Uchi players, Toshiken is a first turn dueler that can out duel anything any other clan can put out, save a reju/kharmic. Toshiken is a must have in a Toturi honor deck. His personal honor is high and honor requirement lower than your starting honor. However Toshiken may have trouble finding a dueling partner in an iaijitsu art.
Story Note:
Seppun Toshiken won the Test of the Emerald Champion after the death of Kakita Toshimoko. After Toturi's return Toshiken assisted the seppuku of Takuan.
