Game Note:
Makashi has ok stats for his gold cost. He is useful only if you need three more small attackers for your deck although Ginawa, Hasame, Tohaku, and Moshi Hito are more deserving of these slots. Makashi's ability can be abused, he can cast kikos like a Monk, he can charge like a Lion, Frenzy like a Crab, do what he must like a Crane, and perform Ninja tricks without a pair of Black Pajamas. However, it may not be worth it to include fate cards just for one personality, even a non-unique one.
Story Note:
He works for Yoritomo and Toturi, a strange combination these days. However his hatred of Ratlings probably means he has worked with them before in Crab lands.
