Game Note:
Hida Sukune is a important personality for open Toturi Army decks. He has normal stats for 8 gold, however, his undead ability is awesome. All you have to do is keep him honorable an he will return to your dynasty deck after death. Against personality denial decks, he usually can be too much for your opponent to handle. Sukune can also sacrifice himself to destroy evil dudes ranging from Hitomi Kokujin to Kuni Yori. His only defect is his rarity, being a promo Sukune can be pretty hard to find.
Story Note:
After failing to defeat Toturi's Army with a superior force, his father Hida Kisada sacrificed him to the Terrible Standard of Fu Leng to complete the pact with the Shadowlands. He returned as a Shadow Samurai to make peace with Toturi.
