RM RPG Burnin Lives Review By: Cedric Story: This game follows the history of the greatest hero in that world, Rainbow Moogle as he joins up with his friends in his quest. What you realize when you load the game is a cool opening. The music is good too, some of it I've never heard before. He also combined and added to make a nice character tileset. The maps are well done for his first try at this thing. The story flows pretty well. This IS Rainbow Moogle's first rpg with rpg maker 95, so it has problems. Some graphics looked a little messed up in the opening sequence. He also has quite a few typos. Some events look like they were done wrong, in the beginning where the guards are trying to keep Xeno (in Castle Figaro....some name stealing) from getting to the king, he walks right through them and you have to press 'enter' to get into some areas like fighting obi wan or entering the thing to the north of the jedi cave...I don't think Moogle intended that. There's something wrong in the fact that the characters have no animation, they appear to be frozen and just gliding across the land. Oh dear, he used mosaic for the battles too. I still think that mosaic for battles gets a little tedious because it takes forever for battles to start and end. I think Moogle should change it so that flowers aren't obstacles, that would be nice. There's some land tiles in endor that make it so that you have to walk around them. The first time I played through, I didn't enter the inn at Endor so i didn't get Zeromus, and yet he kept saying stuff as I went. It would have helped to know he was there. In the castle south of Endor, the secret chests you find in the basement don't open and stop giving you items. You can get as many items as you can. The secret passage through the mountains near the end of the beta is a bit hard to find too. Sound/Music - 91% Story - 83% Maps/Events - 87% Score = 87%
