Legacy: Tale of Heroes Review By: Cedric Story: In a planet called Ehlana, humans suspected there were two powers, god and devil. Soon they began to argue about it and there was a great war about the two beings. until someone helped them. He gave great power to 4 inhabitants who then ended the war. one of them, Zyxor, died. No one knew what happened to him, but the one who gave them their power then dispersed it to all the people so that future generations would have it. 1000 yrs later, quarrels are beginning again between two religious factions and thus the war repeats. The story sounds really good and well thought out. There are quite a few typos, but that can be overlooked when getting involved in the storyline. There is the regular bunch of easily recognized music as well, with the, yet again, mosaic used for battle screen switching (which takes forever in the endurance test to finish with the mosaic....egad). The maps are decent in most aspects. Some of the NPCs that move around randomly move a bit fast and can be hard to catch and talk to. The switching between the three main characters is well done, but their reasons for trying to get the sword sounds a bit goofy (like how does archery books suddenly end up on top of the place with the sword?). Part of the event for Nina happens again when you exit the tavern with Robyn in hillfort, that needs some fixing. When searching places, like hay or barrels in hillfort, it says that Sky says them, but when you are only Robyn, he's not there. The endurance test is a bit crazy that early in the game, it can be slaughter for those who didn't level up a bunch before entering the events.
