Destiny Review By: Cedric Storyline: There are 5 powerful crystals which are in balance to keep the world at peace (where have we heard about crystals before? ^_^ ). The crystals and the power are going out of balance, which causes the death of a man once known as the hero of destiny. Replacing him with that title is his son Tom. Matthew, Tom's best friend, joins him on his quest to save the crystals and return the balance. Music is here, with a lot of mixes from Final Fantasy. The introduction is pretty well done, with nice graphics for the the crystals and a decent title screen. The part where Tom talks to his father could have been done as an event though, instead of having to have Tom talk to the father. Yeah, one of few games that has other sound effects in there. An added plus. The save spots look nice, and they glow when stepped on. Maps are nice also. Sadly, he uses mosaic for screen switches, and this makes for slow gameplay at times. There are some interesting events, like Tom's basement where he slides along the arrows. Some of the graphics are cool too. Like the animated bats in a cave and the animeish type of graphics with the rain drop look and the exclamation in bubbles over the characters' heads. storyline - 92% maps/events - 95% sound/music - 89% score = 92%
