Baldy's Big Day review By: Cedric Story: Baldy is living out in his regular, happy existence when one day, his whole yard floods. He begins a search for why his yard was flooded. This is a really, really great game. The humor kept me laughing all along. Not many games show such good humor and that is where this game shines. Some of the maps are a little messy, but it doesn't matter. Most of the music is stuff that comes with rpg maker 95 and can sometimes be a little annoying. Sadly enough, this is ANOTHER game that has that mosaic setting for battles. The author even has some avi that he made and they are really good. Especially the mushroom one. There's some spots where you become unsure of what to do, like in the beginning. You don't know that you have to drink from the well. Or when you have to search the center set of bones where the cyclops is. There are some spots with typos that I'm sure are not part of the humor (unlike the goofy signs out front of Baldy's house). Also, it would be better if you could walk onto a town and have it teleport you there, rather than to have to use the action button. The set up is nice on parts of the maps where you can walk behind them. But you have to see the humor, that's all there is to it. music/sound = 75% story = 99% maps/events = 90% score = 88%
