CAAT <> Student List
Welcome
to UCA! I'm the Dean of Admissions, Jekkal. My job here is to make sure that everyone who
needs to get into UCA gets in, and that they learn what they need to learn. I also run the
UCA web site.
The UCA's main goal is to make sure that those interested in cyberadopting get the teaching they need to keep up with those that make the rules. Only if you have not passed the CAAT (CyberAdoption Aptitude Test), or are recommended by a cerified CyberAdopter, should you be in UCA.
If you are certified, then you do not need to use the UCA learning courses. However, it is recommended that you make contributions to the UCA by way of advertising from your pages, or donating materials to teach new students.
How
does the UCA work?
Simple. All students will need to be registered by me before they can take advantage of the UCA's facilities. Each student has the exact same core goals to be able to abide by the rules of netiquette, make exceptional pages for adoptables, use forms/guestbooks to apply for adoptables, and ultimately be able to adopt creatures. For the University's core agenda to work, students will adopt cheerleaders. These goals must be met in order to become a certified CyberAdopter.
Additional courses will be offered in how to create and run agencies, but at the moment we do not have the teaching materials to do this yet. All certified Agency Owners are also certified CyberAdopters.
Who gave YOU the right to decide how good we are?
This is life, bub. Life with it. We have a multitude of supporters, mostly Alumni, who are tired of having to weed through each personal form only to be tricked by heartless people who abandon their pets.
The UCA helps agencies to know who and who not to trust, so everyone can rest a little easier.
Do we have to take the test to be on the list?
Unless you are recommended by an Alumni, yes. Those that are recommended becuase of abandonment, readoption, or other high crimes will automatically be considered Freshmen, whether they have taken the test or not.
