With the development of the cities, the Nameless One once again found a way to strike at the attempt to balk his stay in this world. With his powers of corruption he warped the minds of small groups of the city dwellers. He showed them the ease at which things could be taken from the unsuspecting. He taught them the way shadows could be used to conceal their movement. The Nameless One also taught his followers the art of sneak attacks.

The Nameless One had hoped with this small army of his, he could throw the cities into disarray, but he underestimated the will of the new races. He could not control them, so he turned his attentions elsewhere.

As time passed, these rouges honed their skills. They also learned to concoct vile poisons, and to set vicious traps. They lived on the idea that it was easier to take from others rather than make for themselves, but they also knew they must not be too overt else be hunted down and slain.
