A Larva shrine wouldn't be complete without the typical rants about Larva where the shrine keeper would go on and on about how damn great Larva is in just about everything under the sun and where people coming to this section have to sit and endure her endless tirades until she's blue in the face or until Miyu actually finds her way here and toasts the heck outta her for trying to sneak  Larva away from her. ^____^

Larva: ....Do I have to sit here and endure this?
Rin: Yes, you do.
Larva: *sigh*

Sooooooo......why did I actually set up a Larva shrine in the first place?

.his attitude. Where else can you find a guy who caters to your every whim, and needs? Larva'd follow ya to the ends of the earth if need be, whether that place be in the Dark or just somewhere fighting off the bad guys, and still look good doing it!^^
.underrated. Let's face it, Larva doesn't have as much publicity as let's say, Kenshin Himura or even Ranma Saotome. I know for a fact that Vampire Princess Miyu doesn't air in my country, and I doubt that it's been shown in other countries with the exception of Japan. The little manga and OAVs that do trickle in here had been enough for me to like the series and the guy, but not everyone knows all about this anime.
.kawaii!. Just look at his image gallery! He's easily one of the most gorgeous two-dimensional bishonen ever to grace anime! Narumi Kakinouch's works are damn good!^___^
.abilities. He doesn't turn into a girl (heaven forbid) or fire Reiguns on the tips of his finger, his ability's much more subtle. He doesn't rely on his ability as much as he relies on his intuitions, and in my opinion that's even more better than just striding into a fight with guns flaring. And what's more, watch a Kyuuketsuki Hime Miyu fight; everyone looks more like they're playing a part in a ballet instead of actually fighting, it's pretty good!^^
.personality. Some people might say that he doesn't have a personality. Larva does too, but he's extremely subtle about it. He doesn't shout it out for the world to know, and he isn't the typical anime guy like other series, where they practically scream to be noticed. The way Larva moves,  thinks or acts upon something shows something much more mature than most other bishonen. You can't describe him as mossy, because he isn't. He just fades into the background, but that doesn't mean he doesn't see what's been going on. He's fairly accurate in that, and he can reach a conclusion a lot easier than he would have if he merely allowed his mouth to flap about, which I don't really imagine him doing so...^^;  Trying to piece Larva's personality helps you realize that he's a lot more complex person - or vampire - than anyone could look at first glance.
. Miyu. She's so lucky. She's got Larva, and they both look good together. Pictures of them together are really dramatic, small implications that they're more than just deep friends. They kinda remind me of Aes Sedai and their Warders, from Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time saga. (Aes Sedai are women with the ability to channel One Power, and they bond themselves to men called Warders, or Gaidin, who protect them for the rest of their lives.)
