Uploaded new, improved doujinshi pages to FortuneCity. I gave up hope on the Dencity servers. Also took out the counter there cos I no longer see any point in keeping track of that there :P New non-SD doujin up for display ... a Yami no Matsuei smut. Let's continue the counter saga. My mind just couldn't take it. *sheepish*

The first counter I ever used was FastCounter. I dropped them after they had some kind of problems. Again, its their fault that my numbers weren't moving and of course, it couldn't be my fault that my website had such a non-moving hit rate. Hahah. Guess what, after years of moving on to thecounter.com, I am back using FastCounter just because they look nicer!

They used to be independent, but now FastCounter exists under the umbrella of Microsoft bCentral. Hah. Like Yahoo! and Egroups and WebRing .. all will fall under the crush of the encroaching Empire ..

Oh btw, yesterday I completed Vandal Hearts II. Heh. I got the ending in which Clive, Yuri and Adele died and where Joshua ends up as Mayor in Polata and married to Rosaly T_T Serves me right for not getting the Vandal Hearts sword before I battle Yuri ... grrr ..

The Art, Links, Misc, Mailing Lists and SD Alt Ring won't be up until I take a break from the massive change ^^

I think when it comes down to the design of this website, I am just a simple, practical minimalist. Heh. Anything for the sake of efficiency.

Cleaned up the guestbook. Also redid each and every single chapter of the fanfics .. at 3.11AM, this is an amazing feat. Re-read whatever I wrote at the same time and going through extreme anxiety because of that.

I have a headache >_<

Let me rant.

Counters don't stay loyal to me. Keke. I seem to have a habit of changing counters ... and not just for fun. Ack .. it seems I care very much how I like my counter, whether its blue or flashing colours or a certain font >_< counter.com wants to charge for a certain style that I used to use T_T And for the free one that they are offering, its an ugly blue plastic sticker thing. Yes, so I don't like it.

Heh. So off I went to FortuneCity to see if they give nice ones. Well, it took but 5 minutes to see that they have /one/ that I /could/ use but the code they gave me didn't work! (So much for blaming everything else but me ^^) Saga for The Counter continues.

On and on the search went, and then I came across this wonderful page that has a list of free counters, and a description of basic services.

From there, the lonely traveller stumbles along. I mean, all I wanted was a simple nice uncomplicated counter. There were websites that had this: "Right, we will give you a counter if you let us put up a big ugly banner on your page .. " or "Give us $$$ and we will give you a counter + monthly stats + trackers + etc etc .. "

So I'm picky and we all know what happens to picky pple. They complain a lot but go back to the original problem, sit down on it and complain somemore. Which is why I am trying to understand WHY I am still using counter.com

1. Laziness 2. Procrastination 3. I just can't be bothered about how a small little fucker like that could mess up the page!

So there. Justification is a worthy tool here ^_^ Give me full marks for contradiction.

The Updates page is updated. You couldn't say that without sounding corny, could you?

Added a page just to store away all those quotes I picked up. Restored the webring page. Enuf for the day.

And *banzai!* .. the @#$% banners aren't inline anymore! Now, back to serious stuff - for future announcements , join my new ML. Heh. One thing : I will no longer be announcing updates of the doujin site in my main SD site here - very troublesome :P the doujin site already has its own updates page so this should work okay.
