- What
is :: isosceles :: ?
You are asking me that??? What happened to Maths?? I thought they
taught that in school or something .. heh heh heh ... Awrite ^^ Here's
what I lifted from the Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary of Current
English -
isosceles [eye-saucer-lis] adj (of a triangle) : having two
sides equal.
- But
WHY :: isosceles :: ?
I knew it - you are thinking I need psychiatric help, don't you? What
the hell has maths got to do with Hanaru? What, indeed? My
demented mind has actually gone through many many other names to call
this particular project - like Black and White (^^;;;), Maple Flame,
Obession ... ack, maybe I should have adopted these instead
of :: isosceles ::...
Nah ... its done , unfortunately *smirks* - now we all have to live
wif it *demented laugh* The only rational explanation that I can come
up wif is this : Isoceles has two equal sides yah? Hanamichi and Rukawa
are like two sides of a coin correct? They are like the *starts to
go into poetic mode* yin and yang, dawn and dusk, fire and ice, sun
and moon, the beginning and the end ... etc etc etc.
- But
:: isosceles :: is a TRIANGLE !
*applause applause* I know that too. My brilliant mind has foreseen
some counter arguments. A triangle often seems to denote a love triangle,
something like Senhanaru or Anzai x Hanamichi x Ryonan's coach *puke*
Anyway, you get the point.
Think of it like that - Hanamichi is at Point A. At an equal distance
away, Rukawa is at Point B. A basketball dribbles mysteriously by
itself at Point C. Now, wouldn't it be the most natural thing in the
world to extend a line from Point A to Point B to Point C?
*starts to laff* I am sorrie - I don't knoe why I am doing this -
its late at night ... and here I am, ranting about triangles, of all
things ...
one other note : I am not brilliant. If I were, I wouldn't have to
study :P
- Why
the black background?
Erm .... because it reflects the weather conditions outside the window?
Hahahahah ..
- What are you
talking about? The background is WHITE ...
Oh .. refer to Question 4. Kekekekekkeke ... I mean I swear it was
night just now .. but it seems as if the sun has just comed up *LOL*
- What's
this :: thing in :: isosceles :: ??
First reason - it looks nice.
Second reason - it looks nice.
Third reason - all RIGHT , at least I think it looks nice
:P
- Why
am I still reading this?
I honestly don't know. *sympathetic look* You poor thing ... maybe
you need a pscyhiatrist too ...
- The
purpose of :: isosceles :: ?
Simple. To celebrate 10th of November, the official Ruhana day. To
share stuff created by fans for fans. Noble, neh ...
- Why
not 11th of October (Hanaru Day)?
Cos I am a Ruhana fan. Heh heh heh ... nah, the real reason is because
my exams only end in early November.
- Does
it mean Hanaru stuff aren't allowed?
No no no ... don't get the wrong idea! To
me, it doesn't matter. Whether its RH or HR, its still our dear red
head and his baka right? I do have a preference for RH - but
that's besides the point. Anyway - who can really determine with all
certainty which fic (or pic for that matter) is RH or HR?
- Will
:: isosceles 1999 :: evolve to :: isosceles 2000 :: ?
If I am still here. If the world is still here. If you are
still here *grin* Ack .. let's just wait and see what happens ^_^
- This
page is about 2 guys ...... !! *shock horror horror*
I almost forgot about my yaoi disclaimer :P That is, I naturally assumed
that people who come here already knoe what yaoi is , but well
just in case - for the poor unsuspecting traveller -
Yaoi is the abbreviation for "yama-nashi ochi-nashi imi-nashi", which
can be roughly translated as "no climax, no resolution, no meaning".
The characteristic feature of yaoi manga is male homosexual love,
usually between characters from well-known stories. It is also known
as "shounenai".
This is obviously a yaoi page.
- May
I take this page for xxxxxxxxxxxx ....
It's like you knoe, in school where you have to write those long and
boring essays and you make references to certain stuff you read somewhere.
It's supposed to enhance your grades for that essay or something.
You plunk it down in your essay and quote the author. It's the same
thing. Give credit and ask for permission from the owner before you
take anything, awrite? All pictures are taken from my Hanako Sakuramichi
doujinshi, unless otherwise stated.
- The
page looks strange ...
:: isosceles :: is meant for Netscape and Internet Explorer 4x, at
a resolution of 800 x 600. Either that, or there is something wrong
wif my coding. I should have put this in the disclaimer or something
- but I am running out of time *bows apologetically*
