I am currently playing in a Birthright Setting.
I DM and my friend Mike plays "Katorn Napier", Guilder and Regent of Tournen.
Below is a list of events from the campaign.

The history of Tournen & its ruler Katorn Napier and news from Anuire and beyond.
Events in Yellow are common knowledge to surrounding lands. Events in White are
things that are "secret goings on" and only known to Katorn.
Year 551 Spring The hand of leadership is passed down to Katorn Napier from the aging
ruler Gilgaed.
A festival in honor of Archprelate Rhobher Nichaleir’s daughters
marriage is held in Monsedge , hosted by the new Regent Napier.
Regents from surrounding Domains greet the new ruler of Tournen with
letters of good will.
Year 551 Summer The Manslayer sends word to the new regent asking for a meeting to
discuss peace between the 2 lands. Katorn refuses to enters the
Manslayers realm, as does the Manslayer refuses to enter
Tournen territory.
Boeruine troops numbering 2,000 enter Teaghas land in Wilders Gorge,
massive losses on both sides.
Year 551 Fall Gold bars have turned up missing from the treasury! Regent Napier
investigates and never recovers the missing gold, but uncovers a
plot to not pay the troops.
The plot was started by treasury minister Nemir. Nemir goes into
the dungeon. Captain Bowen, a commander of Tournen 2nd Infantry
shows off her troops.
More Troops from Boeruine pour down into Teaghas land at Portage.
Year 552 Winter Undead from the Shadow world appear all over Tournen during the full
moon.
Lots of damage and deaths are inflicted, but the Tournen troops save
the day.
Castle (2) are started construction in Ghonallison and Tours Hold.
The tax loophole that Nemir pointed out months ago has drawn in
an additional 20 GB in revenue this season.
Year 552 Spring The Manslayers troops enter into Pechalinn. A fight unsues, both
sides losing some troops, the elf units withdraw.
The people of Tournen demand better protection.
Avanil and Teaghas counter attack the 2 provinces under control by
Boeruine. Approx 4,000 troops involed in the battles.
Castle in Ghonallison is finished.
Regent Napier spares Nemir anymore dungeon punishment, and returns
him to duties in the treasury department.
Year 552 Summer Goblins raid down from the 5 Peaks into Ghonallison. 1 Tournen unit
destroyed, 3 goblin units destroyed as the creatures flee the
battlefield.
Boeruine and Avanil front lines go back to where it started, on
the Elfwash river.
Tours Hold castle completed.
Pirates attack 3 ships off Caelcorwynn Island, no survivors.
Year 552 Fall Tournen bolsters its troops.
Regent Napier orders the construction of a palace of extraordinary
magnitude; 45 GB are appropriated for the project.
Castle (2) are order to be built in Pechalinn and Elvensmere.
Year 553 Winter Alamie cuts off all trade with Tournen. Alamie says the troop
build up must stop and the castle construction must cease or the
trade lanes will stay closed.
2 merchant ships are lost off Albiele Island, no survivors.
Year 553 Spring The govenor of Alamsreft requests Katorn Napier to save his nephew
from death. The boy is on trial in Ghoere for murder. Katorn goes
and discusses the matter with Gavin Teal of Ghoere. Teal requires
25GB to save the boy, Napier refuses.
Unfortunately the boy is found guilty and hung.
Tournen bolsters its troops.
The Gorgon launches an offensive into the Wierech region. Gorgon
forces are reported to be in excess of 20 units of all types.
No one knows what provoked this rampage.
Year 553 Summer Goblins again attack into Ghonallison. 1 defending unit is killed,
5 goblin units are destroyed or routed.
The castles in Pechalinn and Elvensmere are completed.
Roesone attacks its neighbor Ilien during training exorcises.
Ilien is captured and its treasury depleted. Many are worried
about the unprovoked attack.
Fighting continues in Wierech with the Gorgons forces killing all
that it crosses.
Year 553 Fall Napier’s Lt. asks Katorn to consider finding a wife to bear Tournen
an heir.
The Spiderfell launches a large raid of several units into Medoere
province of Caerwil. The defender push the spider forces back but
at a huge cost of 4 units. Spider losses were 5 units.
Gorgon for no reason leave Wierech, and head for home.
Year 554 Winter Messengers from regents all over, announce the rulers will attened
the Sword & Crown, which is to be held in Tournen as agreed 5 years
ago. Katorn Napier insists the troops be ready to show off their
stuff to the Anuire regents. Extra troops are hired.
One of the grandest palace of them all (not including the former
Emporer’s of course) is completed just in time for the Sword & Crown
next season. All of Tournen is proud of Katorn Napier. Loyalty rises
in all provinces.
Year 554 Spring The Sword & Crown. Prince Carilon Alam, Katorns cousin, speaks of
ending the aggressiveness against each other, and turn it against
their common enemy, the goblins, orcs, and orogs of the Five Peaks.
Alamie agrees to reopen the trade lanes if Katorn goes along with
the 5 peaks campaign idea.
Katorn needs to decide.
Prince Avan is attacked and his daughter captured by Boeruine
troops says Avan. Tournen troops follow the trail, encountering
the kidnappers. They tell of elven plots. Following the trail
further leads Katorn Napier to an ancient cave. One room holds a
platform that teleports him and his men into unknown mountains.
Battles rage against elf and orog, above and below the mountain.
The regent comes out at the base of the Manslayers tower.
He infiltrates into the tower, as his remaining troops cause a
distraction. Katorn sneaks to the top of the tower, acquiring a
few items along the way. He finds Prince Avan’s daughter in a
chamber and they turn to escape and the Manslayer stands before
them. Rhoubhe explains it was all the daughters idea, to get Avanil
and Boeruine and the Elf Manslayer in a war. She denies it all.
The Manslayer lets Katorn leave with the daughter to find the truth.
In the end, she admits she created the plot, but did it without her
fathers knowing. Katorn rules that Avanil must pay 15 GB to Boeruine
for the slain troops. And that both countries must meet twice a year
for 2 years to find an end to their regional power struggles and
constant wars..
As things settle down, Katorn Napier dances with many maidens.
He also tries to better his relations with Boeruine, and Avanil.
Katorn agrees with his cousin Alam that a joint attack on the 5 Peaks
in the second month of summer would be very lucrative.
Assan Dauota, Ruler of Elinie requests 30 GB to help itself defend
against Ghoere’s buildup. Katorn agrees and a payment plan is set up,
2.5GB per season for 5 years.
The Council of Ruling Regents of Anuire determine that the next
Sword & Crown will be held in Taline in the spring of 558..
Year 554 Summer Massive storms batter Tournen at the start of the season, muddying
the roads, washing out crops, and wreaking havoc all over. 16 GB
are needed to clean up.
2nd month of Summer Tournen troops pour into Thasbyrn. The troops rout the weak
1st war move goblinoid defenders. Some injuries, but no Tournen losses,
3 goblin units destroyed.
2nd month of Summer. Tournen troops move from Thasbyrn into Helmshaven, 4 goblin units
2nd war move retreat.
2nd month of Summer Tournen troops hold position in Helmshaven. Scout units arrive,
3rd war move discovering 10-15 goblinoid units in Floodspeath.
2nd month of Summer Regent Napier buys info (15GB) from unknown person
4th war move about upcoming Alamie attacks on Tournen.
All Tournen forces in Helmshaven head home. Most units enter
Ghonallison, while a couple linger behind in Thasbyrn.
3rd month of Summer Alamie Declares War on Tournen and sneak attacks across the border.
1st war move 16 Alamie units appear in Nabhriene, Tournen troops withdraw to
the capital while Alamie troops follow behind.
19 Alamie units cross from Hildon & Sorelies into Ghonallison. Plans
for the battle of Ghonallison & the defense of Haesrien are made.
3rd month of Summer Prince Avan of Avanil makes an offer of vassalage to Katorn Napier
2nd war move in exchange for Avanil assistance in the Tournen/Alamie war.
The Battle of Haesrien is fought with the Regent’s Lt. Breandallon
leading the defense. Tournen suffers almost 800 casualties but
holds the field. 10 Alamie units were destroyed in a hail of
lightning bolts from a spellcaster. A total of 18 Alamie units
were destroyed in all.
Word comes of 3 more Alamie units crossing to join up, units now
total 25.
Tournen troops withdraw towards the capital.
The Battle of Ghonallison is fought, 2 lone units defend the
Ghonallison castle, and are destoyed.
A strange wall of fog enshrowds the provinces of Elvensmier and
Pechalinn.
Boeruine troops attack into the Gorge of the Five Peaks with 15 units.
3rd month of Summer Tournen troops withdraw from Monsedge into the capital. Katorn Napier
3rd war move arrives home and is breifed about the 1000 Alamie prisoners in the
dungeons.
Scouts are sent to investigate the strange fog. It seems impassible.
3rd month of Summer Word comes of 10 Avanil troops crossing the border into Nabhriene.
4th war move News from the Five Peaks. A huge battle is fought, the 15 Boeruine
units are slaughtered by 35 goblinoid units lead by someone called
the Warlock.
The Tournen main army returns home and prepares to defend the city.
No new news from Pechalinn or Elvensmeire.
An assassin attacks Kotorn as he sleeps. The killer dies at palace
guards hands, and its discovered that he was a halfling.
After the assassination attempt, fire rained down on the courtyards
in the city that held the Tournen army. 2 units are destroyed, and 4
wounded.
Alamie troops approaching the capital as Katorn and his generals
agree that to withdraw to link up with the Avanil troops and make a
counter attack back at the capital. The troops empty the treasury
and withdraw in the night.
Alamie troops enter the capital.
1st month of Fall Taxes are collected, and Katorn Napier rounds up every available
1st war move man for his army, expanding it by 5 more units.
Spies reveal Alamie troops looting and partying in the Tournen
capital.
The Avanil army group links up with the Tournen army. Avanil’s
General Korr leads 6 infantry, 2 cavalry, and 2 archers units.
News from the Five Peaks, only 1 unit limped home to Boeruine
from the failed invasion last month.
3 merchant ships were lost to reasons unknown off Caelcorwynn.
3 units are spotted coming south from the capital. Katorn sets a
trap, turns out to be WIT Knights Templar coming to join the cause.
1st month of Fall Tournen/Avanil/WIT troops enter into Haesrien.
2nd war move The fog by the 2 western provinces still stands and does not move.
No word from the other side.
VICTORY at the Battle of Haesrian. The Liberation was successful of
the Alamie occupied capital. The death toll was high. 6 Tournen units,
2 Avanil units, and 22 Alamie units were destroyed. A dozen more
units were wounded. 6-7 thousand dead. Prince Alam was captured alive
and is being held prisoner. Katorn weighs what he should do with the
evil backstabbing cousin of his.
1st month of Fall Mhoried troops assault Alamie capital and loot it.
3rd war move Tournen takes 1000 Alamie prisoners from the battlefield of Haesrien.
1st month of Fall Mhoried troops retreat as Tournen troops enter into the Alamie capital.
4th war move
2nd month of Fall Message from the 5 peaks. The Warlock declares that the goblinoid
1st war move clans have united and will not be pushed around by humans anymore.
Tournen troops expand into Alamie territory scouting for info.
Ghoere troops meet Tournen troops in Traisward & Measford, Tournen
retreats.
2nd month of Fall Ghoere declares that its long lost territory is reclaimed.
2nd war move Tournen troops encounter Mhoried troops in Noortmoor & Sootmoor.
2nd month of Fall All around Ghoere people celebrate the reunion of the lost provinces.
3rd war move Katorn Napier occupies all other Alamie land.
2nd month of Fall Katorn Napier consolidates his forces and prepares for Investure.
4th war move
3rd month of Fall Cariele accuses Anuirian meddling in the 5 peaks has ignited the
goblins on a raiding frenzy in their lands
Year 555 Winter The Investure of Katorn Napier divesting from Carilon Alam of Alamie
is performed by the head of the WIT.
The fog that enshrouded Pechalinn & Elvensmeire dissipates. Total
carnage is left behind. The land have been looted and destroyed by
elves lead by The Manslayer. A note was left behind, "keep the helmet,
we are even." No one knows what this means....
Katorn hold several festivals in the 5 new Tournen provinces to
boost spirits.
Year 555 Spring WIT troops disband and return to the temples.
The Gorogn launches an attack into the lightly defended and sparsley
populated country of the Giantdowns, 20+ units are involved.
Congrats were sent to Katorn from Avanil. Vassalage will take place
in Summer 555.
Goblin troops from Markazor attack north into Taurhieval, 12 units
are involved.
Rebellions have broken out in Mhoried and Ghoere held Alamie lands.
A man named Camlin from Diemed presents a note for 15GB to be cashed
in. He says he’s from Port o Call guild in Diemed and has the money
loaded on a ship at
the harbor to sail down the Tour river to his boss El Hadid.
The Gorgon continues his attack into the Giantdowns.
Heavy fighting in Taurheival.
Ghoere announces to stop the rebellion, a level 4 castle will be
constructed in Traisward. Ghoere troops put down the rebellion in
Measford.
The Gorgons troops have stopped and made camp in the center of the
Giantdowns.
Dhoesone & Thurazor have signed a peace agreement, no goblin raid
and Dhoesone will buy goblin trade goods.
Several goblin units limp home to Markazor from Taurheival.
Year 555 Summer Mhoried lowers Soutmoor & Nortmoor taxes to 0.
The Gorgon seems to have setup an excavation site. 1000’s of
goblinoid slaves and troops are digging over a wide area.
It is unknown what they are looking for.
Katorn Napier travels to the Imperial city for his vassalage to
Prince Avan. There Avan holds a grand party that includes many of
his allies, provincial rulers, and many neutral regents. Katorn
meets many new people including a Kinsani merchant and El Hadid.
Prince Avan says that his troops will stay in Tournen to help protect
it.
Digging continues in the Giantdowns.
Rhoubher of the WIT dispenses Brother Theodor to be the official WIT
liason.
Ghoere rules Tornilen to 4.
Taline rules Greensward to 3.
Digging continues in the Giantdowns. Many domains are afraid of what’s
happening.
The Gorgon must be looking for something, but what?
Diemed rules Bliene to 4.
Katorn begins looking for a court mage.
Year 555 Fall Digging continues in the Giantdowns.
Arenwe accuses Roesone of logging the southern forest, Roesone denies
it.
A man names Sazzicar, a wandering mage, applies for the court mage
job. He requires a 20GB tower and 2GB a turn.
Medoere rules Braeme to 4.
Avan redeploys his troops in Tournen to gaurd the Boeruine border.
Spies have reported that the Gorgon is searching for an artifact
supposedly lost in that area 100’s of years ago.
Ghoere and Osoerde have a signed a non-aggression pact.
Avanil rules Avarien to 4.
Digging continues in Giantdowns
Osoerde troops have massed on the northern border, by Coryaneas.
Boeruine rules Bacaele to 4.
Year 556 Winter Osoede demands that Coeranys "release" the southern 2 provinces to it.
Mhoried rules Winuene to 4.
Digging continues in Giantdowns.
Modeore troops try to set the Spiderfell on fire, only the forest
doesn’t burn.
Coeranys refuses.
Coeranys signs a mutual defense agreement with Elinie.
Something was found by the Gorgons troops in the Giantdowns. It was
rushed back to castle Battlewaite. Gorgon forces packup and leave
the Giantdowns.
Teaghas rules Seasdeep to 4.
Osoedre troops pull back from the Coeranys border.
Prince Avan gains another ally, as Mieres across the Southern
straights, vows to be vassalled to Avan. Some says the Avanil
garrison and navy prompts the Vasallage.
Unknown talks have gone on between Ghoere and Osoedre.
Roesone rules Fairfield to 4.
Year 556 Spring Sources say that the Gorgon has found an artifact of immense power.
Assassination attempt on Katorn in his bed chambers. A man gained
access through a secret door, and attacked katorn. The man was quickly
subdued, and taken away. Katorn had the secret tunnel searched, and
discovered another secret chamber within holding a few treasures.
The assassin killed himself with poison while in the dungeon.
The paladin Knight of the Blemished shield arrives seeking
employment.
The dwarf Dirk Watershod of Baruk-Azik Royal Guilds arrives in
Tournen selling Arms. Katorn is interested and prepares to go visit
the dwarfs. Katorn along with 10 guard, Sazzicar, Brother Theo, and
the paladin, they set off. They stop in and visit with the Regent of
Elinie along the way. Finally the arrive in Baruk-Azik. They meet
Grimm Greybeard. He says they must Prove themselves, by attacking a
orog clan. Katorn agrees. Him and his men are outfitted with dwarven
crafted arms and armor for the mission. The team breaks thru sentry
points and attacks the main chamber of 45 orogs. They discover
Mur-Kalid dwarfs making some pact with the orogs. All are slain.
The group gathers some treasure and heads back to the dwarven city.
Year 556 Summer Drought hits central Anuire. All trade is quartered due to the
delibitating heat.
Katorn’s info network reveals that Sazzicar worked for Alamie during
the war.
Something is going on in Torain in the 5 peaks. 15 Units have
gathered there.
More rioting in the Mhoried held lands of Alamie
Ghoere announces the plans to upgrade all its castles to protect
itself and its people.
Year 556 Fall Avanil send a letter to Katorn offering Princess Aubrae’s hand in
marriage to him.
The people of Tournen celebrate the 2yr anniversary of its
liberation from Alamie troops.
The units in the 5 peaks have disapearred. Perhaps they have gone
underground?
Year 557 Winter Katorns spies have found out that the Warlock has created some kind of
portal to a distant part of Cerilia.
Cariele guilds have sent negotiators into the 5 Peaks to buy the rights
to use the portal to move trade good through.
Cariele negotiators are killed, the Warlock says the portal will be used
by goblinoids to conquer distant lands.
Year 557 Spring Information comes in that the artifact the Gorgon discovered in the
Giantdowns is the Chalice of the Dead, A item that can raise the dead
into undead legions for his army. So far, he had created several into his
ever growing army.
Karal Salam arrives in Haerien on a ship with silken goods from the far
east. He asks to open a trade route. Katorn agrees to open one in
Tours Hold once its port is open. Karal has brought along his daughter
Kalilah. Katorn shows Kalilah the city and a good time.
Prince Avan is mounting an expedition to Albiele Island. Rumors says
he’s looking for an artifact.
Year 557 Summer Elinie opens its port.
A man named Morden arrives from the far far north east corner of Cerilia.
He is a representative looking for allies and friends. He offers Katorn
3GB as a gift. He asks that Katorn keep his ears open and that they
should
exchange information.
A lady that Katorn rescued from the orogs in Baruk-Azhik has risen in the
ranks of a Tournen Infantry unit. Katorn rewards her with a 50gp
dagger and congratulates her.
Karal Salam sends a letter to Katorn offering his daughters hand in
marriage.
Prince Avan’s fleet is attacked by 5 unknown towerships. 1 enemy ship was
destroyed but 3 galleons where destroyed holding the off as Avans ship
could escape. Avan was reportedly wounded by foul-magic and rushed into
the castle when they made port. Healers were sent for.
Year 557 Fall The towerships came from the south, but from where and why?
Prince Avan is reportedly fighting for his life, no healing magic is
working.
Mr Morden says that Avan was looking for the Banner of Roele.
Prince Avan is pronounced dead, all attempts to heal him failed.
Princess Aubrae pronounces herself Queen of Avanil.
Boeruine raises an extra 10 units to its army roster.
Avanil’s General Korr raises 15 units to bolster its army and defense.
Princes Aubrae send a letter to its vassall’s asking for continued
support of the Avan bloodline.
Mieres refuses to continue supporting Avanil.
Brosengae swears allegience to Queen Aubrae and Avanil.
Katorn agrees to marry Princess Kalilah this coming summer and sets
about preparations.
Year 558 Winter Teaghas declares itself independent.
Boeruine declares itself the next best ruler for Anuire.
Goblin troops return to the 5 Peaks through their portal with
silken goods and spices.
The Spider attacks into Roesone with 6 units. 3 die, 2 Roesone are
killed, Spider forces retreat.
Queen Aubrae requests Teaghas to reconsider.
Avanil builds 3 Galleons, raises some more troops.
Guilder Kalien reports he busted up a assassination group moving
through his lands from Diemed headed towards Tournen.
Katorn doesn’t like Avanil’s actions and postpones his wedding
until things calm down.
Year 558 Spring Message from Queen Aubrae: "Reaffirm your vassallage to the Avan
Bloodline".
Message from Duke Boeruine: "Join me in erradicating the Avan
scurge of Anuire".
WIT declares itself neutral.

Guilder Kalien of Endier declares itself neutral.
Tournen raises more troops. Standing army now at 40 units!
Year 558 Summer The Gorgon has amassed 10 undead legions from the Chalice of the Dead.
Along with 10 units of troops, they move into Dauren.
Massive fighting in Dauren.
Dauren is conquered. Resistance fighting still goes on, but Dauren is
lost to the Gorgon for now.
Year 558 Fall The Gorgon declares war on Wierech and send the bulk of the
1st month of Fall forces from Dauren north into the realm.
Message from Katorn in Tournen to Queen Aubrae: "Be vassal to me
or be destoyed".
Reply from Queen Aubrae, "The Avan bloodline will never be
vassal to another!"
Katorn Napier and Tournen Declare War on Avanil.
2nd month of Fall Mr Morden arrives at the Palace and asks for a private meeting
1st war move with Katorn.
Morden displays the Banner of Roele and offers it to him in
exchange for a favor in future.
Katorn readily agrees, and sends the Banner off to the front to
be included in the coming war.
Lt Breandallon leads an army of 10 units into the Avearian province.
They defeat the 6 Avanil units but loose 3 Tournen units. The level
2 castle was reduced to level 1.
At the same time, infantry leader Captain Bowen, now promoted to
Commander, led 11 units in another battle. Victory for Tournen, as
the 7 Avanil units are destroyed at the cost of only 3 Tournen units.
2nd month of Fall 10 Tournen troops move into Duriene in Avanil. 13 Tournen units
2nd war move move into Caulnor aswell.
Avanil bolsters its troops in those provinces, 14 defend Caulnor,
12 defend Duriene.
The battle for Duriene lasted hours as both searched for the
advantage, but after massive losses on both side, the Tournen
army withdraws.
The castle was reduced to level 1. However, the newly promoted
Commander Bowen scores another victory and crushes the Avanil
defending army, leaving only 1 lone wounded archer unit to withdraw.
Tournen losses were 7 units destroyed and many wounded.
The level 2 castle of Caulnor was also destroyed.
2nd month of Fall Katorn asks his vassal, WIT, to commit troops to defensive use in
3rd war move Tournen.
Tournen troops reinforce Caulnor.
Avanil lands 12 units in Tours Hold via 4 Galleons on the Tours River.
Avanil troops move up and retake border provinces on the Tournen line.
18 Avanil units move up from the capital and other provinces and
counter-attack into the Tournen held province of Caulnor.
The 6 Tournen units in Tours Hold retreat to Alamsreft in the face
of the 12 unit river assault.
The massive battle in Caulnor, (12 Tournen units, 18 Avanil units)
ends with Avanil taking the battlefield with 6 Tournen units stuck
in the reserve. With no province to retreat too, they surrender.
The Avanil troops put them to the sword.
Avanil only losses 3 units in the fight, though several units
were wounded.
WIT agrees to send 5 infantry units for the defense of the Tournen
capital only.
2nd month of Fall Tournen troops bolster the southern provinces. 18 units enter
4th war move into Tours Hold, Avanil troops withdraw to Bhriene.
Queen Aubrae warns WIT of its involvement in the war.
Gorgon troops occupy all of Dauren and Weirech, although
groups of resistance fighters still strike back when they can.
3rd month of Fall Brosengae declares war on Tournen. 6 units move into Elvensmere.
1st war move 12 Tournen units meet the Brosengae troops and rout them, 3 survive.
Ghoere & Osoerde declare war on Elinie. 10 ghoere troops move into
Chalsodun. The 6 defenders are slain but take 4 Ghoere units with them.
8 Oseorde units move into Osoeriene. 6 Elinie units stop the attack,
killing 6 units, but suffering 4 units lost themselves.
Boeruine declares war on Teaghas. 18 units move down into Wilders
Gorge & Portage. Teaghan troops retreat. Teaghas requests help.
3rd month of Fall 16 Boeruine units move down into Bayside & Seamist of Teaghas.
2nd war move Teaghan troops continue to withdraw from the pwerful Boeruine army.
4 Boeruine Galleons attack 3 Teaghas ships, destroying all 3.
Mhoried declares war on Ghoere, 12 units cross into Tormilen.
Avanil Hires the Black Courser Cavalry regiment. It consists of
4 Knights and 10 Cavalry units. They form up in Taliern.
Tournen Hires the Golden Griffen Mercenary Battalion. It comprises

3rd month of Fall Ghoere reinforces its northen borders with troops from the south.
3rd war move Mhoried troops retreat.
Ghoere troops begin a siege of Elinie's capital.
Coeranys declares war on Oseorde, attacking 9 units into
the northern provinces. Heavy fighting reported.
Avanil declares war on Teaghas.
The Black Courser Regiment moves into the Seamist province of Teaghas,
attacking the 9 Boeruine units
The entire Teaghan army of 10 units withdraws to Bhaine and watches
Avanil and Boeruine fight it out. The mercs crush Boeruine, killing
7 of the 9 units. The wounded units withdraw to Bayside.
Boeruine moves more troops down into Wilders Gorge and Portage.
3rd month of Fall Ghoere send more troops to strengthen the siege of Elinie.
4th war move Roesone declares war on Ghoere and attack the weak southern provinces.
Ghoere counterattacks and drives off the Roesone units.
Year 559 Winter Boeruine & Avanil troops in teaghas dig in for the winter.
Tournen creates trade route Haesrien to Lofton.
WIT rules Sorelies
A messenger comes bearing a reminder of the Sword & Crown to be held
the second month of spring in Taline.
Queen Aubrae orders the destruction of WIT temples in Caulnor,
Bhrien, and Duriene as a warning not to get involved with in the
Avanil-Tournen conflict.
Meetings are held between Katorn Napier of Tournen and WIT.
Year 559 Spring Queen Aubrae raises more troops.
The Avanil & Boeruine troops in Teaghas hold their positions due to
the upcoming Sword & Crown.
Katorn receives a message from the Manslayer. A challenge of some kind.
Katorn gathers his advisors and weighs his options. With but 2 weeks
till the Sword & Crown, he has little time.
Turns out the Manslayer challenged Katorn and his troops to a battle
for "all the marbles". Katorn leads the massive Tournen army of 32 units
into the Manslayers territory to a pre-arranged location, containing a
clearing suitable for the battle. 15 Elven units arrive shortly after.
The battle began and the tides of war flipped back and forth for who
would come out of the battle the victor. After a long battle, and losing
12 units destroyed, and many wounded, Katorn and the Tournen army
claimed control of the battle field.
After the cheers of victory lessened, an eerie calm came upon the
clearing. The bodies of the elven dead, shifted and blurred, and the
shocking truth was revealed. The enemy the Tournen army had fought had
been Boeruine troops! The Manslayer had somehow magically made the
Boeruine army appear elven, and the Tournen army appear elven to
the Boeruine army, fooling them to attack each other.
At this moment of their mistake, arrows poured from the surrounding
forest, darkening the sky for a second. Hundreds of Tournen soldiers
fall dead before they even knew what hit them. The real Elven army
led by the Manslayer appears out of the dark forest.
Now, the REAL battle for all the marbles BEGINS!
Katorn consults his aides and decides that his troops are to worn to
take on the Manslayer's army of fresh troops. Tournen troops withdraw.
Katorn informs his Lt. of the situation and prepares to head to Taline
for the Sword & Crown.
The Sword & Crown goes as expected, many Regents blaming each other
for one thing or another.
Teaghas, Boeruine, Tournen & Avanil all argue on who started the fighting.
Elinie asks Katorn for a grant, and he is genrous, a 10GB gift.
Katorn sees Morden speaking with another Regent. later that night,
Morden meets with Katorn, giving him information to beware what's
coming. As payment for this information, Katorn must eliminate someone.
That person, Bleen, is a silversmith in the Taline capital. Katorn
agrees, to cancel the favor owed.
Back in Council, All agree that the Gorgon's rampages must be stopped,
but no one knows how. Katorn suggests that all the Aides and Advisors
that joined the Regents to the Sword & Crown meet and come up with a
solution.
The 4th night of the S&C, Katorn dons his "work" clothes and slips
out across the wall and into the city to perform his favor. He arrives
and scouts the building, electing to enter via a rear window. Once
inside, he prepares for the attack. But he is interupted and hides.
The Silversmith Bleen, heard noise, and investigated. Katorn strikes
from behind and finishes his off. He then rustles through the building
making it look like a burglary gone wrong. He then returns to the palace.
Progress is made at the S&C as Katorn agress to a Mutual Defense Treaty
with Elinie. Katorn also signs a Trade Agreement with Guilder Kalien for
trade between Endier and Tours Hold.
Katorn also signs a Non-Agression Treaty with Boeruine.
News comes that goblins have attacked into WIT's northern lands. Katorns
vassal leaves to tend to his people.
The advisors that were challenged to come up with a option to stop the
Gorgon has resulted in nothing. The consensus of advisors is that the
Gorgon is too far to be attacked. The Regents did agree that the strange
goings on in the 5 Peaks should be investigated. Queen Aubrae of Avanil
nominated Katorn Napier to head the mission, since it is in his "backyard"
Katorn accepts the mission to the 5 Peaks.
The Sword and Crown is ended, and Katorn returns home.
