GRAND MAGIC II It has been a while since Grand Magic I. I finally decide to make part two and I hope you enjoy. Here are five new spells that you can introduce into your campaign. Created by Steve Marella SHARDS OF ICE(Invocation/Evocation) Level:2 Range:five yards per level Components:V,S Duration:one round Casting TIme:5 Area of Effect:one person Saving Throws:half The caster can create shoot razor shard shards of ice from the palm of his hand. The caster must make a successful attack roll to hit target. The shard does 2d6 points of damage. Every two levels the wizards gain another shard to maximuim of five(10th level). The target can save vs. spell to take half-damage. SMOKE SCREEN(Invocation/Evocation) Level:2 Range:20 yards Component:V,S,M Duration:2rd+1 per lv. Casting Time:3 Area of Effect:10 yds per lv. Saving Throw:neg. The spell creates a black smoke that blurs all vision. This spell helps wizard stop follower or creatures. When the victim enter the smoke screen he begins to choke on the dirty air. This gives the person a -2 to saving throws and hits. It gives a -4 to intiative. If the victim can save vs. spell it has no effect. The material components is a handful of ash. BONE CAGE(Necromancy) Level:3 Range:15 yards Component:V,S,M Duration:1rd per lv. Casting Time:4 Area of Effect:five cubic feet per lv. Saving Throw:none The spell summons all bones within the area to come out of the ground and form a cage around the intended victim. The cage can withstand twenty-five points of damage before it is destroyed. A dispell magic spell will work to negate it, The material component is a peice of bone. BLACK MIST(Necromacy) Level:3 Range:10 yards Component:V,S,M Duration:2 turns+1rd per lv. Casting Time:6 Area of Effect: one body per 2 lv. Saving Throws:none This spell create a black mist that take control over any cadaver in the area. They will obey the caster til destroyed or the spell ends. Once the spell ends the cadaver just fall to the floor. Since cadaver aren't undead they cannot be turned but a dispell magic spell will work. Cadaver(Ac:8 Mv:6 Hd:2+2 Thac0:19 Number of Attacks:1 Dmg:1d6 Morale19-20) DEATH AROMA(Necromacy) Level:6 Range:30 yards Component:V,S,M Duration:4rds Casting Time:9 Area of Effect:1 yard per lv. Saving Throws:neg The spell create an aroma of death. Any creature that is six hit die or under must save vs. death or die. Any one over six hit die isn't effectived by the spell.
