 The item below was created for the AD&D game, but can easily be used in

 Greetings great warriors and adventurers, I Thorlin, first and most legendary 
 king of the Dwarves have left the land of the living.  I leave to my fellow
 dwarven brothers my mighty weapon, the last item I ever fired on my forge:

This legendary Dwarven Battle Axe\Hammer was the first and last weapon Thorlin
ever foraged in his mortal life.  His forge silent forever now, the legendary 
"Thorlin's Bane" lives on below...

This mighty two handed and two headed weapon is forged from the rarest of
metals. On one side of this weapon is a hammer head +5, the other a +3
vorpal axe head.

 - Just to wield this great weapon one needs a strength of 21 or greater
 - The Hammer head is a +5 weapon inflicting 2d6 +5
 - The Hammer head acts as a Mace of Disruption
 - The Axe head acts as a Vorpal blade + 3
 - The Hammer/Axe dispels magic at the 20th lvl 3xday
 - The Hammer/Axe inspires awe in all dwarves and fear to the wielders enemies
 - The Hammer/Axe can conjure a 16 Hit Dice Earth Elemental 1xday
 - Upon command the Axe/Hammer can become a polearm
 - Upon command the Axe/Hammer can become a Hammer +5 Dwarven Thorwer
