The Defender of Evil This magical one-handed bastard sword +2 is the opposer and opponent of the Defender of Good (another file that I uploaded). In the Defender of Good file, the history tells of a town being overtaken by evil creatures, which lead to the creation of the good sword. Well, believe it or not, the leader of the seige on the town was using the Defender of Evil to cary out its purpose. The leader was an evil sorceror, who created the evil sword to seek, destroy, and overcome evil. It would be quite a scene in an adventure to have these two swords clash in the classic battle of good vs. evil. I would love to hear about it if you ever do play it. Here ya go: The Defender of evil is normaly a 1-handed bastard sword +2 Intelligence: 15 Alignment: Chaotic Evil Communication: Speech (4 languages) Primary Weapon Abilities: Detect good in a 10 foot radius Detect magic in a 10 foot radius Detect traps of large size in a 10 foot radius Extraordinary Power: Charm Person on contact, up to 3 times per day Purpose: To defeat, destroy, and overcome law, order, and good Special Purpose Power: The sword becomes a +5 weapon against any good creature, and the Defender of Good itself. Languages Spoken: Common, Elven, Dwarven, Gnome This sword does not work well with Paladins. In fact, the sword inlicts 3d6 points of shock damage if a Paladin touches it. Any evil character can use it. The character's alignment gradually becomes Chaotic Evil during the period he uses the Defender of Evil, and he/she will also want to carry out the purpose of destroying good, even if it means killing his/her own friends. Have fun gaming. spectre25@aol.com
