Natuk is a game of Orcish endevour.  In Natuk, you play a band of eight Orcs (or Ogres or Half-Trolls) on a quest to slay the current Orc chieftain, Molvosh.  Your thirst for revenge stems from Molvosh's punishment of you for supporting the last attempt on his life.  He took all your possessions, killed your mates and children (whelps), and sent you to an outpost in the middle of nowhere.
    Starting off weak, you must make yourself strong.  Defeating enemies brings valuable experience which you must use to learn new skills.  Experiment with magic, brew your own potions, write your own scrolls.  Repair broken or damaged items.  Haggle for goods (or simply steal them if you don't like the price  : )  ).  Weasel your way out of trouble, or perhaps bribe an enemy.  Inspire your friends with a hearty chant.  All in an attempt to aquire the necessary power to challenge Molvosh and complete your revenge.
 
    This is, of course, my Natuk web-page.  Natuk is currently available at Tom Proudfoot's homepage.  There you will find info on how to sample Natuk via the demo, or purchase the full version.  The demo allows you to explore 2 towns, and 12 dungeons, about 1/3 of the entire game.

    It's appropriate that this update is coming so close to the first of April, 'cause I've been quite the fool  : ).  I thought that I could do this site all by myself, but it's pretty blatantly obvious that I cannot.  So I am officially begging for help now  : ).  If anyone wants to lend a hand, just take a walk over to the Help page and see what you can do.  Natuk deserves more than this one man can give right now.  Why?  Because I have a new job, new girlfriend, and a host of other things on my plate that must come first.
    I will still do a little bit myself here and there, but from now on, the site will depend on dedicated fans to help out.

    A small update, 8 new Witchdoctor spells (including the most powerful spell yet - Deathball), 5 new Shaman prayers (again with the most powerful yet - the Comet Strike prayer), 4 new Item properties, __ new miscellaneous items and gemstones

    Okay, I know it's been over 2 weeks, but a new job and various other things have taken away from my time at Natuk.  I've been playing, but not as much as I would like to.  I've added 29 new spells, 9 new syllables, 10 Item Properties, and 6 Item Materials.  More stuff will be forthcoming in a few days.  Also take a look at the new button on the bottom of the page - it's worth it  : ).

    I just recieved my full copy today.  I've already discovered a whole butt-load of new things, but it will take a while to catalouge them all.  With that in mind I'm going to leave the page the way it is for now and finish the game.  Then after that I will start to update the site.  It will take me a while since I have a real job now  : ).  Here's my .plan file (wow, I feel like John Carmack  : )  ):
    I will finish off the items, materials, and properties first.  After that I will update the page on a town by town and location by location basis.  I'll be going through them each with a fine toothed comb so I should pick everything up.  Lastly, I will detail any quests that you can accomplish.  I will do this last because from what I understand, all of these quests are non-essential to the main plot.  All the while I will be updating the spell pages (syllables, spells, and prayers).
    If I miss anything, please let me know.  Please don't however, email me with info on spells unless I ask for it here - I don't want spoilers  : ).  Feel free to give me info on things that I have missed in regards to locations, however.
