The variety of equipment and people in the city of Klorga
is a far cry from the paltry conditions of the Outpost where you begin
your adventures. There are many services available in Klorga, from
a Magick shop to a personal trainer.
The Weaponsmith is a Gnome who sells all sorts of weapons.
Always give his inventory (and that of the other merchants) a once-over
when you get the chance - his inventory changes daily and he sometimes
sells good items. The Jeweler is your source for any magickal gems
and jewlery such as rings and necklaces. The Trainer is where you
spend your excess cash. For every 500 coins and 1 day of your time,
the Trainer will impart 10 experience points to a single character.
The Apprentice to Moosh sells scrolls, while Moosh the Magick Merchant
himself sells more powerful items like wands and staves with spell charges
in them. The Armourer occasionaly has an item or two worth looking
at, but mostly, you'll be doing the selling here. Finally, the Temple
of Zentrix is a potential disaster in the making. The head priest
of the temple will, if you ask him to show you the power of Zentrix, try
to kill you. You must be very powerful to defeat him - powerful enough
to kill each of the priests and acolytes one by one in a single turn each.
If you can't kill one of them before the prests next turn, Zentrix itself
will heal them all! Work quick and concentrate your attacks.
For the adventurous, there are 3 more dungeons to
explore. The Rat-Men
(wererats) are ___ days away, while the Gnolls
wait for you ___ days down the tunnels. Finally, another Goblin
stronghold awaits you ___ days to the east. To the north lies the
outside world. You need the full version for this, and I'm still
waiting for mine, so I'll update when I get it : ).
