One morning, like any other morning, millions of people were on their way to school, work, or to sleep. Fifty-nine of them were on a cable car that was making its way up Powell Street. But then came the Jumpstart, and every person on that car gained a power - for good or ill. Six of them came together to find out why they had powers, a seventh one soon joined, and their lives were forever intertwined - even though just that morning they had been nothing more than ... Strangers.

Notes: Bob was a reliable source of support for the team. That is, until he went rogue. Then he was the team's most potent adversary.

Powers: Robotic Contruction: Candy is a very advanced form of robot this
provides her immunity to disease, age and a wide range of other things,
including telepathy.

Empathic Sensing: In. She was initially programmed to be ablt to detect
peoples emotional states.
Talents: She knows exactly how to please most men.

Notes: The first friends that Candy ever had were the members of the Strangers. She will do almost anything to defend that friendship. Though she can detect and understand emotions in others, she is a bit frightened by the true affection (love?) she feels for Hugh Fox (Grenade).
History: Candy was built to be the perfect bodyguard for the head of a large corporation. She was also used by him for sexual release.

Powers: Explosion: Hugh can create explose blasts from any part of his body that does up to Unearthly damage depending upon how much of his body the explosion is generated from. He rarely uses more than his hand (Good) or chest (Incredible)

Notes: He acts dumber than he actually is.
Hugh is under the impression that he should be the Stranger's leader, not Elana. He is not obsessed with it though, so he follows the instructions by Lady Killer. He immediately fell in lust with Candy (Electrocute), but that has matured into love, possibly because nothing physical has ever come of his feelings towards her. He will do almost anything for the team, and even more for Candy.

Background: Dave Castiglione runs an Italian bakery in San Francisco's North Beach which has been in his family for three generations. Not even his new powers can keep him from making sure his customers get their daily bread. When the Jumpstart hit Dave, he gained a spectrum of ultranormal abilities. The powers in his spectrum come in seven forms, each marked by a flame of a different color - so he could be the most powerful Stranger of them all.

Notes: Originally, she kept herself separated from any conflict unless defenceless people are involved. She has started to aid the Strangers. She sees her role on the planet's surface to be one of observation.
History: Unlike the rest of the Strangers, Yrial was raised with her magical ability. She was sent by her race to investigate the event known as the JumpStart as well as to observe the result of that event.

Powers: Hyper Speed: Class 1000. Leon is now able to do physical actions too quick to even be imagined. Early on, he's dodged bullets easilly and ran accross water. Later he investigated a huge military complex between the last two sylables in the word 'Investigate'.
He has mastered several power stunts including multiple punches and creating tornadoes to carry objects. He does not create sonic booms when he runs, even at his highest portrayed speeds. His increased operating speed has not affected the rate that he ages.
Talents: Pick pocket.

Notes: He loves his new ability, and sees it as his means to be 'legit.' He is the youngest member of the Stranges (by far).
