The team moved from LA to Gotham City after agreeing to become unofficial agents of the Markovian Government. In return it is allowed to maintain a secret headquarters on Station Markovia, and is provided with the services of Dr. Helga Jace, Markovia's Nobel prize-winning scientist, who also serves as a liaison between the group and the government.
