Sensceiver Implant
This communication device is usually implanted behind one ear. It hooks directly into a subject's nervous system and causes a tingling sensation in the person's head, as well as sending visual information directly to the person's mind during a crisis in Starfleet. The activation of this unit indicates that a retired or inactive person in Starfleet has been brought back into active service, says that they should contact Starfleet Intelligence Command. This is implanted in many senior Starfleet Command personel and Intelligence Coand agents. It is only activated when more obvious meathods of communication are not recomended or possible. It has a miniaturized leime power pack and operates on it's own frequency. Kirk got his when he became an Admiral, and had it activated during the V'GER incident.

Subdermal Translator: This is a communication device inserted beneath the skin of the arm. It translates most languages known to the Federation. For unknown languages, a larger translation device is needed to translate between species.

Powers: Limited Telepathy
Due to his continued exposures to Spock's Mind Melds, arguably the most personal known expression to the Vulcan people, and his long friendship with Spock, Kirk can intuitively tell if Spock is alive, and vice versa, at unlimited range, even if the proof says otherwise. On a Red Psyche FEAT, if he is afraid, in pain, or generally just needs Spock's advice, even if they are separated by immeasurable distance, he can unconsciously send his need for Spock to him. He did this once to bring Spock back from Vulcan during the V'GER incident.

Limitations: Disease
He once contracted Vegan choriomeningitis, and still carries the microorganisms in his bloodstream. While no longer dangerous to him, or to others due to his treatment for it, if it can be screened from a blood sample it can be used as a disease again. It will lower all Physical Statistics by -1CS per hour to a minimum of FB(02). After 24 hours the victim will die unless treated.

Farsighted: Kirk is allergic to a corrective eyedrop called Retinax Five. As a result, unless he wears a corrective device of some sort (such as the spectacles McCoy gave him for his birthday), everything 1 area or closer is blurry and requires a Reason FEAT to see clearly (such as reading).

Powers: Vulcan Nerve Pinch RM (30) Stun. On a successful Grapple, Spock can Stun a creature by pinching the artery in the neck that gives oxygen to the brain. He normally does this on humanoid beings. If he has to use this power on a non-humanoid being (such as a horse), he must make a Reason FEAT to figure how to apply the pinch. Failure means it does not work. Stunning knocks the being unconscious for 3-30 rounds.

Controlled Rage: RM (30) Spock has the ability to control his emotions. He can release or contain his rage at will on a Psyche FEAT. This raises all of his Physical stats by +1CS, but lowers all his Mental stats by -1CS when in use. He rarely uses this power except in emergencies (such as when fighting a powerful foe one-on-one, or when a friend is in danger).

Mind Touch: RM (30) This allows him to make two-way communication between his mind and another on a successful Psyche FEAT. It allows him to mentally speak with an alien being who speaks an alien language, but thinks in relatively normal ways. For a being who tinks in completely alien ways, a mind meld is needed. He can use this on Touch, or he can use it over RM(30) range on a Red Psyche FEAT, to try to convince someone that he has escaped confinement or something of that sort. This cannot work over a communication or remote sensing device. A Psyche FEAT must be made each round to continue the contact.

Mind Meld: RM (30) This is a more comprehensive form of mind touch. On a successful Psyche FEAT, and a successful Grapple (to allow him to touch the correct portions of the face), he and his target have a virtual exchange and melding of personalities. This enables him to mentally communicate with completely alien minds (such as energy creatures, non-carbon life forms, beings with entirely different concepts of time and space, etc.) by communicating at the deepest layers of the mind. This is a deeply intimate exchange, and if used it will cost Spock 10 Karma per use. A Red Psyche FEAT is needed if the being is resisting, or unconscious. When used, a Psyche FEAT must be made for each round in contact or the target will start speaking through Spock, requiring him to make a Green Psyche FEAT if it is Friendly, a Yellow Psyche FEAT f it is Neutral, or a Red Psyche FEAT if it is Unfriendly or Hostile to regain control and/or break contact. After the exchange, Spock and the target will have slight similarities in each others personality for 1-10 days.

Induce Amnesia: RM (30) He can induce amnesia to a target for a certain section of their memory on a successful Psyche FEAT. This can only be used after a mind meld has been formed. It can only erase memories, not implant new ones. If the target is unwilling, a Red Psyche FEAT is needed.

Mind Scan: RM (30) This allows him to reach out his mind to detect other minds in the nearby area on a Psyche FEAT. He cannot send or receive information, he can only detect if any other living minds are nearby. He can scan small groups of beings with RM (8 areas)range radius. He can scan 100 or more beings at Sh X (80 areas) range radius. He can scan 10,000 or more beings at Sh Z (800 areas) range radius.

Confusion: RM (30) On a successful Psyche FEAT, Spock can cloud the mind of a target with conflicting neural data, making it nearly impossible for the target to decide upon an appropriate course of action. This lower's the targets Reason by -6CS to a minimum of FB. The confusion lasts from 3-30 turns.

Command: RM (30) This allows Spock, on a successful Psyche FEAT, and a successful Mind Touch or Mind Meld, to take direct, involuntary control of the physical actions of another in his presence. This lasts for 3-30 rounds. He can affect this on Touch.

Mind Bar: IN (40) This allows Spock to resist Pain, Psionics, Heat, and Cold by controlling his mind.

Mind Bar Aid: This allows Spock to aid another by raising their Psyche to resist the effects of Pain, Psionics, Heat, and Cold. He can affect this on Touch. He can raise their Psyche by +1CS on a Green Psyche FEAT, +2CS on a Yellow Psyche FEAT, or +3CS on a Red Psyche FEAT.

Resistance: Due to his strict Vulcan training, in spite of his human half, Spock has MN (75) Resistance to Emotions and Emotion Attacks.

Limited Telepathy: Due to his constant use of the Vulcan Mind Meld on James Kirk, he has formed an unbreakable mental bond with him. This bond will enable Spock to determine if Kirk is alive over unlimited distance. On a Red Psyche FEAT, Spock can tell Kirk if he is in pain, or needs his help on a subconscious level. On a Red Intuition FEAT he can track Kirk no matter where he is.

Limitations: Blood Spock has a rare Vulcan blood type; T-negative.

Logic: Due to his Vulcan logic, all Intuition FEATs are considered FB (2), unless he makes a successful Intuition FEAT first, enabling his human half to allow him to make his FEAT at the TY (6) level.

Emotions: Due to his Vulcan training, Spock hides his emotions to the point where he appears to have none. To almost all but those closest to him, he seems to have a personality that is sterile, emotionless, cold, and computer like.

Equipment: Subdermal Translator: This is a translator implanted under the skin. It enables the person to speak and hear any language in Federation databases. Unknown languages require a larger portable translator, which will have its memory stored in the computers which will then enter the subdermal translator.
