Equipment: Mechanical Hand

Deathgrips right hand has been replaced with a mechanical one of AM material and IN (40) Strength. He may strike for RM (30) damage and crush for IN (40) damage. The hand can also generate EX (20) heat, capable of easily melting soft metals (brass, copper, etc...) Aluminum, Iron and cracking Brick and concrete. He may combine these two, striking for 30 + 20 = 50 damage, and crushing for 40 + 20 = 60 damage.

Limitations: Deathgrip was terribly deformed by the fire. He is very skilled at disguising his scars with make-up and wigs.

Talents: Gambling, Crime, Disguise, Martial Arts B and C, Weapon Specialist (Mechanical Hand).
Contacts: Agent of the Combine, Doctor Shroud (underworld inventor), Las Vegas crimelords.

History: As he says himself... "One there was a young man who was a brilliant card sharp...clever, subtle...blessed with magic hands, some said. Then he worked his clever tricks against a powerful syndicate lord, who didn't appreciate being fleeced! A car chase followed...and a flaming wreck! The card sharp escaped, Angela...but he left one of those "magic hands" behind in that wreck! His dealing hand! I was that young man, Angela...and your father is the syndicate lord! Some of his rivals gave me this interesting new hand! But I can never be subtle again!"

He tells all this to the daughter of the man who'd cost him his hand...just before he makes ready to dump her car into a junkyard compactor...with her in it! Part of the reasons for his doing this was revenge...but it was also an attempt to lure Destructor out into the open so he could kill him. In the end, Angela is rescued by Destructor and Deathgrip is dropped into the compactor instead of Angela Brand.

Still...we don't actually see Deathgrip get crushed into goo. I'd just bet that he either managed to scramble out just in time or had some other escape plan ready. He seems like that kind of guy.

Description: As Deathgrip, he is bald and terribly burned. We wears a green bodysuit with yellow boots, belt and left wristband. His right hand is actually a red mechanical prosthetic that glows when energized. He usually wears large, dark sunglasses and a neck brace. When assuming the appearance of "Glenn Thorn" (a deep cover identity he'd maintained for months) he wore a black wig, eye brows, mustache and affected a very charming demeanor. He wore a flesh-like glove to conceal his mechanical hand.

Personality: Though a master of subtlety, Deathgrip prefers to move fast and hard. A competent professional when needed, he has a violent streak a mile wide. After the wreck that destroyed his life, he managed to find a new niche for himself in the underworld...as one of the Combines chief enforcers.
