Hrinmeer is the son of an elfin mother and a fire-demon father. He grew up
a scorned outcast, forced to wear a mask to cover up a face that was hideous
to his father. Awash in hatred he slew his father upon reaching adulthood
and embarked on a reign of terror throughout Asgard, taking the name of
the Flame.
Odin sent Thor to stop him at all costs. During the battle, Thor removed the mask to discover that he was not disfigured but normal looking. The Flame did not believe him and continued to fight. The Flame fell into an open pool of fire and was apparently destroyed.
The Flame survived however and dug himself out of the place he was entombed in. Loki was there and the two struck a deal to get revenge on Thor.

Talents: Astronavigation, Pilot, Detective/Espionage, Gambling.
Contacts: Silver Surfer, Starfox, Mentor, Jack of Diamonds.
First Appearance: Silver Surfer Annual #6
Height: 6' 2"
Weight: 195 lbs.
Background: The Silver Surfer was sent to find Legacy by Elysius, the wife of Captain Mar-vell. He found him gambling on Calculex and saved him from some shocktroopers he had cheated. She sent the Surfer to escort her son back to Paraxis. Legacy had left home at the age of 17 and had not returned in five years. Legacy believed that Eros of Titan, Starfox, was his father. His mother called him home to reveal the truth that Captain Mar-vell was his father.
After his birth, Titanian science aged him to an adolescent weeks afterwards and implanted with false childhood memories. They needed isolation so Mar-vell's enemies wouldn't know he existed. His mother then gave him the choice to follow in his father's legacy and be a hero or not. She gave him wristlets modeled after the Nega-Bands, to trigger the latent energy within him.
The Kree were tracking the delivery of those bands to Elysius, meaning to take them. Ronan the Accuser led the assault force, but the Surfer and Legacy were able to drive him and his soldiers off.
After visiting his father's grave, Legacy went in search of his father's killer, Nitro. He tracked the murderer to the former Kree homeworld of Hala. Legacy came very close to taking Nitro's life, but he couldn't do it. He brought him into custody on Titan.
Upon return to Titan, the Jack of Diamonds was there asking for help in stopping the latest plot of Thanos. Legacy left with Jack. The pair tracked down Thanos, Terrax and Ganymede, who were battling Morg. They then all joined forces to face Tyrant. They were all defeated but got away.
Legacy then struck out on his own, to live up to his father's past, and to make a name for himself as a hero.

First appearance: Daredevil Annual #9
Height: 9' 2"
Weight: 880 lbs.
Background: It started at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Mayan Art exhibit. Daredevil interrupted a theft in progress, and museum security arrived as he was finishing up the fight. Tommy Webster's nose was broken when DD's billy club richocheted off a goon and hit him in the face. One art piece was called the Vision Serpent, and Tommy's blood ran on it as he picked it up. It's eyes lit up and blasted the rent-a-cop with some energy beam. The item took the blood as an offering and a sacrificial blood pact. Tommy became the Lords of Death new harbinger, the first of their virgin devourers. He was possessed by a Mayan serpent-god, and remade in form to that of a monster and sent out to feed on the flesh of humanity.
The serpent-god talked to Tommy's mind in his new form to clear away his human consciousness. He could still remember Daredevil and was sent to sacrifice him so a gateway between worlds could be opened. After a couple brief scrimishes with DD, they met up in the sewars again. Daredevil stabbed the Devourer with the statue and the blood reversed the curse.
