The Next Wave

A trio of elite and arrogant mercenaries, the Next Wave was formerly in the employ of Penner Security Associates, one of the world's most respected private security forms. However, the members of the Next Wave thought they deserved more money and the option to decline any assignments they felt weren't challenging enough. When Mr. Penner declined the offer, the trio left PSA. One of their number, Turk, became quite agitated and opened fire on the PSA estate. This quickly led to a mindless brawl than ended quite promptly when Wolverine, Ghost Rider, and the Beast handily defeated the Next Wave.

Some months later, the Next Wave reappeared in New York. They had been pursued across the globe by a group called the Posse. Finally Agent-X discovered that PSA had sent the Posse after them to avenge the insult of their departure. After significant property damage, the Next Wave caught the attention of Wolverine and Ghost Rider again, who beat the crap out of them. Ghost Rider gave them the bonus prize: the Penance Stare. They have not been seen since.

Using the Next Wave in your Campaign: The Next Wave are almost certainly still plying thier trade: destruction. They could be hired to eliminate your characters or, more interestingly, may try to recruit some or all of them into their own organization.

Personality: Verbose and articulate, but cold-blooded.

History: Agent-X is the leader of the Next Wave. The others follow his orders without question. He is very well-spoken and savy. He suggested the trio break from Penner Security Associates and he handles all of their business negotiations.

Personality: Snare seems fairly level-headed most of the time. He can have his moments of violent outbursts, but don't we all?

History: Absolutley nothing is known about Snare's past (just like his teammates), not even how he sees out of that mask.

Skills: Marksmanship

  This weapon can fire multiple types of ammunition, including standard
   automatic rounds (+3) as well as destructive energy blasts (+5).
  Turk standardly carries one extremely powerful round (+7) to deal
  with any superhuman threats that may pop up.

Calling: Greed
Personality: Turk comes off as extremely dull-witted. He is quick to anger and can explode into violence with virutally no provocation.

History: Turk is the dull-witted muscle of the Next Wave. His violent outburst is what started their trouble with Penner Security Associates in the first place. However, his extremely proficient skills in battle prompt his teammates to keep him around. He is quite terrified of Ghost Rider.
