The Firm

The Firm is a subversive biogenetics company that specializes in the design and sale of superhuman agents. They first came to light when they attempted to apprehend the Ghost Rider in order to duplicate his abilities for sale. Unfortunately for the Firm, this was far more difficult than it appeared. One of the Firm's chief agents, a man called Stern, took an opportunity to take over the company during this incident, and was responsible for creating Heart Attack in an attempt to finish Ghost Rider off. This didn't work either, and in the end both Stern and Heart Attack were claimed by Stern's mysterious benefactor, the souless man known only as Centurios. What befell them after that is unknown. Presumably, the Firm continues to operate under new management.

Using the Firm in Your Campaign: Any hero could be targetted by the Firm if they thought his or her powers could be duplicated and marketed for a profit. If any hero's origin involves some sort of lab accident and is not kept a secret, the Firm could come a'knocking on their door.
