Desert Sword
Desert Sword is the superhuman arm of the Iraqi military. They first appeared when foiling the
extraction of a German physicist from Kuwait by Freedom Force during the Gulf War. The conflict was
brief but exceedingly bloody, resulting in the deaths of Veil and Silver Sabre, the serious injury of
the Arabian Knight and Crimson Commando, and the capture of Pyro and the Blob by the Iraqi government.
Desert Sword has appeared in subsequent missions, but with reduced numbers. In addition to Veil's
death, Aminedi has perished due to the Legacy Virus, which he may or may not have contracted from Pyro
during the latter's incarceration by the Iraqi government.
Using Desert Sword in Your Campaign: Any mission to the Middle East could pit heroes against the
Desert Sword. More interestingly, perhaps they would come to America to "recruit" a superhuman
of Arabic descent into their flagging ranks. Could be quite a squabble brewing there!

Clockwise from left: Amindedi, Raazar, Arabian Knight, Sirocco, Veil.

The Arabian Knight
Although blackmailed into serving with Desert Sword during the Iraq-Kuwait war, the Arabian Knight
is a hero, and as such has no place among these base villains. He no longer works alongside them.
