Cybersamurai

The cybersamurai are the creation of the Tatsu'o clan of Japan. The Tatsu'o are yakuza, Japanese mafia, of the first order and are in control of numerous illicit activities throughout the Orient and the world. With the cybersamurai, the money that would be invested on hundreds or thousands of enforcers is concentrated on a handful of deadly warriors, all of whom are cybernetically augmented to be a match for virutally any threat that presents itself.

The cybersamurai first appeared when the mutant member of X-Facter known as Iceman journied to Japan to find his kidnapped girlfriend. Iceman was forced to combat and defeat one of the cybersamurai in one-on-one combat to earn the right to return to America with his paramour. Later, the New Warriors came into conflict with the cybersamurai when they disrupted a heroin ring that was under the control of the Tatsu'o clan.

Identified members of the cybersamurai include Hiro, Dieode, Elec'trix, and Vibrato.

Using the Cybersamurai in Your Campaign: Any heroes operating in Japan or threatening Tatsu'o business interests elsewhere in the globe could find themselves facing the cybersamurai. Alternately, Japanese heroes might find themselves the subject of an unwelcome recruitment drive. Or...what if one of the samurai decided to defect and become a hero?
