Personality: Hardshell is very cold and calculating. She rarely loses her cool in a fight and always has all the angles covered.
       


History: Leila Davis was the wife and accomplice of the two-bit supervillain known as the Ringer. After a nasty encounter with the Beetle, Ringer's confidence was destroyed. A short time later, he met his demise at the hands of Scourge, the villain killer. Leila blamed the Beetle and plotted his death. She hung out with the Sinister Syndicate as sort of a groupie, hoping for a chance to kill the Beetle. She failed and was imprisoned. When she got out, she reorganized the Sinister Syndicate for the purpose of profit and adopted the identity of Hardshell with a suit of powered armor. Her career came to an abrupt end with the revelation that her husband had survived and been rebuilt as a cyborg by AIM. The two set off together to see if they could salvage their lifes.

Using Hardshell in Your Game: Hardshell almost certainly returned to a life of crime, and could be found in any criminal enterprise anywhere in the country. It's remotely possible that she's looking to atone for her past crimes, and might want to hook up with some heroes for a while.
