THE ROLEPLAYING
GAME

.
For those of you who have never played the Star Wars RPG (or any RPG) I'll give you a quick overview.   Basically you create your own character, taking on the role of someone in the Star Wars universe; whether it be a soldier in the rebel alliance, a bounty hunter, or a TIE fighter pilot for the empire.  It's an exciting game of strategy with a little bit of luck involved, and not to mention you get to shoot a lot of things.  Unfortunately West End Games went out of buisness and the original Star Wars RPG books are no longer available.  And if that wasn't enough, being the crappy company that they are, Wizards of the Coast decided to rerelease the game under the AD&D rule system.  For those of you have never played Star Wars or AD&D, the Star Wars rule system (in my opinion) was MUCH better designed.  It was easier to learn and much more versatile.  So for anyone who wants to play a good Star Wars RPG, this can prove to be a little more challenging now, but being the nice guy I am I decided to start compiling the Second Edition Star Wars rules from the original system.  All you need to play are the basic rules, some pencils and paper, and bunch of 6 sided dice.  Well, and some people to play with too.  One person takes on the role of Game Master who runs everything.  He takes on the roles of all other characters not played by other players and lets everyone know what's going on.  I have compiled a bunch of info and links about the game for you to get started.  Or for reference for anyone who already has experience with the game.  In addition I have some optional rules I made up myself that I use in my own campaigns.  New players may want to stay away from anything that says "Optional Rule" until they get the basics down first.  So I hope you appreciate all this because I typed it up by myself and its a hell of a lot of information.  Enjoy.

My New Rules: Just click on one and it will take you right to the appropriate rule that I have devised on my own to better improve my own campaign.  Some of them can make the game a little more time consuming, but they also make it much more realistic, so the choice is yours.  I think you'll like some of them, but new players may want to get down the basic rules before they worry about my rules.
