To get Cloud! (although he sux)
1.) Go to Zeltennia Castle. Go to the bar and listen to the rumor of the "Cursed Island, (Nelveska)" A new area of the map should open, but don't go there yet.
2.) Go to Zarghidas Trade City and a scene should come up where you run into a Flower Girl. Hmm, my doesn't she look familiar? Anyway, buy a flower from her.
3.) Go to Goug Machine City with Mustadio in your party. You will see a scene where Mustadio, Ramza, and Basrodio (Mustadio's father) look over a steel ball found in the No. 57 mine.
4.) Go to the bar in Goland Coal City and listen to the rumor "The Ghosts of Colliery"
5.) Go to Lesalia Imperial Capitol and you will see a scene where you are in a bar. Ramza strangely orders some milk. You overhear some men talking then Beowulf will talk to you. Choose the second option and he will join you as a guest.
6.) Go to Goland Coal City and complete the four battles. These should no be that tough if your characters are strong. After you win, Reis the holy dragon will join your party. You will also receive a Zodiac Stone.
7.) Now, go to Goug Machine City and you will see the steal ball turn into Worker 8. Here comes a classic line "Beat Mustadio Up!" then "Help! Help! Phoenix Down! Phoenix Down!". Worker 8 will join your party.
8.) Go to the Nelveska Temple (the new area that opened up earlier) and defeat the evil Steel Giant. You will receive another Zodiac stone.
9.) Return to Goug Machine City. The new stone will summon Cloud into your world. But, he's not yours yet. He's helping out and old friend.
10.) Go to Zarghidas Trade City and protect Cloud from the thieves. This should be an easy battle. You have Cloud now! But, it's time to find him a weapon.
11.) Set everyone's movement ability to Move-Find-Item. Go to the Bervenia Volcano and climb to the top to the highest rock formation. You should find Materia Blade here. This is Cloud's Sword. (the only thing that will alow him to use his slow limits)
