This is an email letter I sent to Crawford Killian an SF writer whose homepage I found using the Science Fiction Resource Guide. The letter plus the example websites below it should illuminate your understanding of racism in the United States today.
I read or skimmed your article on HateGroups. Though I have been on the web for several weeks now, I have yet to discover any. I suppose it's a matter of finding what you look for.
It is my opinion, based on my own experience, that many persons who are not racist, are called racist unjustly. Racism in the US today is a hate word. It is used by NeoNazies to suppress and degrade anyone honest enough to disagree with them. The fact that these Nazies have dark skins instead of blonde hair does not make them any less Nazies.
I subscribed to Jet magazine for a year. In virtually every issue, some african person described another african person who was married to a white person as a traitor to their race. Any white person who called a white person a traitor to their race for marrying outside of it would be loudly condemned as a racist.
No one ever dares to criticize african persons for behavior that would be roundly condemned as racist in whites.
Consider the social consequences of this. You have a large population block, in a society with a history of racism. They are experienced in racist behavior, but not in egalitarian behavior. The media makes it a policy to praise any behavior they demonstrate which shows pride in their race, whether it is racist or not.
How can they avoid growing up into the most racist segment of that society with that kind of biased feedback.
Then, as they practice reverse-discrimination without any restraint, how can real racism based on real abuses suffered daily in school and public by nonafricans fail to grow back at an alarming rate?
What society needs is less screaming and yelling about neo-nazies, and
a fair standard of what racism is, applied equally, without regard for
race.

| My Of Interest site this week is the piece of white racist literature called Merrie England 2000 . It begins with the story of an old woman who through an ugly but essentially innocent act is convicted of being a racist and brainwashed until she thinks in a politically correct manner. The power and impact of literature of this sort can be calculated by calculating how true it feels to the people reading it. The more times they feel they have been falsely convicted of being a racist, the more real 'true' it will be to them. According to my analysis, a large percentage, possibly a majority of young whites in America today feel as though they have been unjustly called a racist. This makes literature like this dangerous. However, when that large a percentage finds at least a little true in it, it will be impossible to suppress. The more brutal the laws used to suppress it, the more heroic the people who publish it will seem. You can make brutal laws concerning hate literature, which will fail, or you can use the word racist fairly, and justly, on all literature of this type regardless of who publishes it. This, appropriate, use of the word will mean that people will no longer feel that this is a true or plausible situation, and literature like this will lose it's impact and cease to be dangerous. C'mon guys. In a world where young african american children laugh at jews dying in the holocaust while watching Schindler's list, you know something has gone wrong. That, by the way, was the subject of an Oprah Winfrey show. | Netizen Activist Resource Center This is the most Politically Correct Site I have yet to see on the WEB. Like most Politically correct sites, it actively supports idolizes and endorses the most extreme forms of racism, racist propaganda, and race hatred it is possible to imagine. The second site that I checked that they listed as old favorite sites of the week was so hatefilled, liefilled and racist that it would warm the heart of Adolph Hitler himself. The site was the Black Panther's Coloring Book. This book published by radical blacks to promote racial hatred against whites among children has been resurrected on the internet. I did a quick content survey of this book. It makes 22 statements of these statements 8 statements advocate violence against nonblacks, it was difficult to sort outright lies from halftruths from the other statements, so I checked for statements that could be considered literally true if taken in context. Only 3 statements could be considered true. Two more could be considered true if taken out of context of the rest of the book. If you are foolish enough to believe that black people cannot be racist, read this book. Hitler being dead and no longer having a body, is probably just as pleased with this kind of racism as any other. The problem with Politically Correct thinking is that they cannot seem to realize that you cannot fight racism by encouraging race hatred. | Peace Pilgrim Documents This is an interesting document because it is posted at the web site of Barefoot Bob who also maintains a web page for the infamous "Montana Militia". I got interested in checking him out when I found a "Militia Watch" site which mentioned him. I webbed in, posted him a letter telling him that I was an 8th jewish and 2 8th's native american. (Enough racially impure blood to win me a ticket to a death camp in Nazi germany). He didn't seem upset, rather he seemed glad to have a chance to tell me that he didn't hold with racism and thought all people should live together in peace. You may suspect that he has the same relationship to the Militia movement that the Sinn Fein has to the IRA. But if you want to check out militia sites on the net, his site has links you can use to find out what these people are saying and doing. The following two links are also from Barefoot Bob; The Lord's Prayer in Aramaic and English, Sioux Indian Prayer |
